[Peckers_Pics] Male/Gay Health-Discussion-PICS Wheel of Fortune Couples

 

Jake -

 

How about getting gay married couples on Wheel of Fortune?  All this week they have had couples week.  Granted there have probably been a gay couple on during one of the Best Friends week shows, but why not have a same sex couple on just one show of their couples week?  Only once have I noticed that someone mentioned their partner of the same sex in the contestant opening interview segment.  Of course I may have missed some others as I don't watch 100% of the shows.  But lets get some exposure on the national level here, sitcoms are one thing, but real couples need to be seen.  Lets break that discrimination.

It is incredible to actually be living in a gay affirming country.

Not only do we have an openly gay Prime Minister and we have had gay marriage as one of the first countries in the world, our media often show  a matter of fact attitutde towards gay things.

Yet, until two years ago the cyclist racing and other commentators here were simply homophobic.  One day they watched Schleck and Contador comiing across the finish line arm in arm and within one phrase they first described them as best friends, then said they are not "different guys", they made them "just colleagues" and then "total rivals".  I'd had enough and sent a very sharply put e-mail to the sports editors of the news.  They took my remarks into the meeting.

Now we even have a commentator telling us to look at those gorgeous thighs on the german cyclist.  He also told us to enjoy the Trinidad Tobago cyclist whose suit's color so wonderfully offsets his gorgeous skin!  He also kept commenting on the man's great looks and told us this is a guy to follow!

The commentator also cheered deliriously when the runners took off their shirts and jumped into each other's arms shirtless last night.

Last Friday they showed Milk on one of the commercial channels that shows romantic movies on Friday.  Today they showed Cold Case with a gay marriage at the end.  They often mention gay issues on the prime time news and point out the plight of gay people in Nigeria and other countries.

Everybody should buy Belgian products!
