I'm sorry if you guys are offended by my email, but it's not medical advice.
I sent it out to warn people that they may think they're being healthier taking fish oil, but if they take the ethyl ester form it can do harm.
And it's not just my opinion. I have long history as a investigative journalist. I don't say anything that is not supported by quality medical journal studies. I know that is the only credible data.
So while I have developed an opinion, because of the studies, it's not just my opinion. It's the result of teams of scientists doing studies and forming conclusions. I'm just reporting on what they found.
In my email I cited this link http://www.ascentahealth.com/print/373 that is fully referenced from 29 quality published medical journal studies.
I sent it out to reduce harm that people who use ethyl ester fish oil will experience over the long run and state that the triglyceride form is what we should be taking if one is taking fish oil.
So that's my motive. Critique it if you wish.
But I'm just reporting facts that scientists determined.

Events would last from 30 minutes to two days, where my heart beat rapidly and irregularly so that blood circulation in my body was weak. Imagine your heart feeling like its beat is weak, but it's irregular and superfast, almost like it's fluttering, beating without the full power to push blood around your body.

Where the triglyceride form does all the good things you've heard about omega-3 fish oils, the ethyl ester form works well enough for my Afib and other important effects, such as lowering blood triglycerides but it apparently causes other problems that predict a shorter lifespan because of more inflammation and degeneration.

It comes from Norway, just like leading brand Nordic Naturals, but it costs less than Nordic Naturals' products. I take a tablespoon a day (as an optimal dose to eliminate my Afib.

Indeed, CONSUMERLABS' report on fish oils missed the boat on this critical difference in their supposed critical analysis of fish oil products.
