The biceps are those sexy muscles that twist along the front of your upper arm. The Standing Curl is a great exercise that will sculpt and strengthen your proverbial guns. Let's begin!
Step 1: Hold a pair of dumbbells and stand with your feet shoulder-width apart. Extend your arms by your sides, with palms facing forward and knees slightly bent.
Step 2: Feather your breathing as you curl the dumbbells up through a count of 10 seconds to just past a 90-degree angle. Hold and squeeze for 2 seconds.
Step 3: Keep your elbows tight against your body as you lower the weights to the starting point through a count of 10 seconds.
Step 4: Repeat three times without resting.
- BOYCOTT EXXON MOBILE - Do not pump gas at ExxonMobil - Oil and gas giant ExxonMobil voted earlier this year overwhelmingly against protecting employees from discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity. It's been doing that for years. Despite being the top Fortune 500 company, the corporation is notorious for failing to provide for its LGBT employees. Scoring an abysmal -25 on HRC's Corporate Equality Index -- the lowest possible score -- ExxonMobil claims that LGBT protections are "unnecessary" and already covered under other company policy.
- BOYCOTT "Chick-fil-a" for donating money to anti-gay groups. UPDATE: President/Owner of Chick-Fil-A stated "they do not support Gay Marriage." "They support the bible only." Therefore, we believe they do not welcome Gay people as they may feel that Gay people are an abomination. Tell your colleges, business's to end their lease and business relationships with Chick-Fil-A (CFA). Dan Cathy (owner of of CFA) contributed to Exodus (Reparitive Therapy) and the FRC whose money is connected with "KILL THE GAYS" in Uganda. Question: Does Dan Cathy know that politics should not be discussed at the dinner table?
- Boycott Bill O'Reilly and FOX News and their advertisers. Bill discussed a French commercial by McDonalds that was meant to show that McDonalds is Gay Friendly. Bill said what is next? Is McDonalds going to be Al-Quada friendly as well? Imagine - Bill O'Reilly compares Gays to Al-Quada!Further, Boycott Fox's Owner "Rupert Murcoch" and get him thrown in jail for illegal - political donations, bribery, hacking!
- End DOMA (Defense of Marriage Act). Prevents Federal employees and Gays in the Military from gaining equal benefits. Prevents Gay Partners from gaining equal benefits.
- Pass a LGBT friendly ENDA (Employee Non-Discrimination Act). ENDA would prevent employment discrimination of LGBT workforce.
- Boycott Salvation Army as they will not hire Gays! "DO NOT DONATE TO THEM."
- BOYCOTT KOCH INDUSTRIES PRODUCTS- to include their products: Angel Soft toilet paper / Brawny paper towels / Dixie plates, bowls, napkins & cups / Mardi Gras napkins and towels / Quilted Northern toilet paper / Soft 'n Gentle toilet paper / Sparkle napkins / Vanity fair napkins / Zee napkins / Georgia-Pacific paper products & envelopes / All Georgia-Pacific lumber & building products (INVISTA Products) / Lycra / Stainmaster Carpet. The billionaire - Koch brothers are ultra republican - tea bag founders/supporters that do not support causes of the LGBT community.
- Boycott WALMART - The National Gay and Lesbian Task Force criticized Wal-Mart for denying employee benefits to same-s-x partners and for failing to prohibit discrimination based on gender identity. By comparison, the group said two other chain stores with a strong presence in New York, Costco and Walgreens, did much better.
- "Tune Out Trump", Boycott all Trump Hotel, casinos, holdings, The Apprentice and NBC Network! At CPAC, Trump said he is considering a run for president as a Republican. In a interview with the Des Moines Register, Trump added that he opposes all forms of legal recognition for gay couples, not just marriage. "They should not be able to marry," he said. So why does NBC keep the Apprentice when Donald Trump has stated he may run for president? After making racist remarks about Obama and recv'g public backlash, Trump decided not to run for president after NBC renewed his awful TV Show. How can NBC re-new the clown's show after he pulled such hateful shenanigans?

Gay donors now pressing for top spots for LGBTs in Obama administration

Various supporters of President Obama -- the ones who pulled out their wallets and turned out their constituencies for his reelection -- will soon be coming to call at the White House.
Knock, knock...
Hey, it's the Human Rights Campaign, which wants to see a second Obama administration make gay rights an even bigger priority than it did in the last four years.
HRC president Chad Griffin told our colleague Ned Martel the day after the election that his organization would love to see an openly gay Cabinet secretary and an openly gay ambassador to a G-20 nation. Both would be firsts (David Huebner, who's gay, is ambassador to New Zealand and Samoa, but the HRC wants one of the big-deal countries). Griffin says there are plenty of qualified candidates out there -- enough to fill up a binder or two. ''Our government, particularly in this administration, looks like America,'' he says. ''And it's important to have a cabinet that looks like America.''
In not-unrelated news, gay money was a key to Obama's fundraising success. A dozen members of his national finance team are gay, and we're hearing that they collectively outraised other ''affinity groups''-- categories like ''Latinos'' or ''trial lawyers'' -- represented on the team.
Money aside, gays even can make the argument that they handed Obama the election: according to exit polling, 5 percent of voters identified themselves as gay, and 76 percent of those voters supported the Democratic ticket. Of voters who didn't identify as gay, only 49 percent voted for Obama.
There's a grand tradition of presidents rewarding their biggest donors with choice ambassadorships. And Obama would have plenty of gay donors (like power couple Michael Smith, the famed decorator, and HBO exec James Costos, who were among his biggest bundlers) to choose from to fill some of the choicer embassies around the globe.
As for that Cabinet post, there may be a few openings. We know that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner, and Defense Secretary Leon Panetta are definitely planning to head for the hills at some point. Others are mulling the decision -- and then there's the post of Commerce Secretary, which is vacant.
There are certainly some gay candidates who could fit the bill. Among those often talked to fill various Cabinet posts are John Berry, the director of the Office of Personnel Management, and Fred Hochberg, president of the Import-Export Bank, who's most often mentioned as a possible Commerce Secretary.
Of course, the donations-for-nominations game is never couched as a quid pro quo. But when the door knocks...
