Today's Health/Excercise Tip:
Which Protein Shake Is Better for You?

At first glance, Muscle Milk's Protein Drink doesn't seem too unhealthy — it only has 2 grams of sugar. Here's the downside: It's sweetened with aspartame, an artificial sweetener that may be linked to an increased risk of brain cancer, reports a National Cancer Institute study. It may also cause headache, dizziness, nausea, fatigue, irritability and weight gain, according to reports filed with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

Instead, try Jay Robb Whey Protein — it's sugar-free  (0 Grams of sugar) and sweetened with an all-natural herbal sweetener called stevia. The best part - it tastes great!
And Now, Hair Wars!
This group is called "Peckers PICS."  The English -  slang definition of "pecker" is to pluck at the truth. Therefore, we peck at items such as Gay Men's Health, Male Fitness, Gay (LGBT) Politics & Issues.  In this section you may peck at each photo in order to decide the winner of the "war of the fittest!"  Whereas, you should select the guy that may inspire you to exercise and "get fit!"   Warning: This may stoke you!

2004 Bush campaign manager: I'm gay

Seattle Post Intelligencer / Aug 26, 2010

He managed a 2004 Bush campaign that courted "values voters" and backed state initiatives to ban same-sex marriage, but Ken Mehlman has disclosed he is gay and says he is working to legalize gay marriage.

Mehlman is out of direct campaign work and is now head of global public affairs for Kohlberg, Kravis Roberts, the much-publicized New York-based private equity and takeover firm.

"I am others worked very hard to expand the party to communities that had not been as amenable to the Republican message," Mehlman told The New York Times. "Obviously, I look back and wish I was in the place I am today and been able to do that with the gay community."

Mehlman had in years past denied reports that he was gay, but told a blogger with The Atlantic that he has informed family and friends of his orientation over the past few months.

He has lately raised money for the American Foundation for Equal Rights, which is backing the legal challenge to California's Proposition 8, the ban on same-sex marriage narrowly passed in 2008.

Mehlman has, however, continued to give money to Republican candidates who oppose same-sex marriage.

Mehlman is the latest of a number of high-profile conservatives, some of them deeply involved in campaigns against gay rights, who have to come out or be "outed" in recent years.

The first was Rep. Robert Bauman, R-Maryland, original sponsor of the Family Protection Act. Terry Dolan of the National Conservative Action Committee succumbed to AIDS, after airing homophobic TV ads. Arthur Finkelstein, a Republican political consultant renowned for spots labeling Democratic senators as "too liberal" for their states, married his partner in Massachusetts.

The list also includes Colorado pastor Ted Haggard, former head of the National Association of Evangelicals, and Rep. Ed Schrock of Virginia. Schrock abandoned a re-election bid after leaving a revealing phone message on a gay-dating service line.

Remember:  Boycott Target and Best Buy for donating money towards anti-gay political candidates/organizations and to Proposition 8 (California) to prevent gay marriage. The Formal Boycott began this past weekend. I stopped shopping these stores - even though I want a new washer/dryer and new clothes for the Fall.  I would not purchase "Blood Diamonds," nor should a person / organization be contributing funds to both Hitler / Nazi's and the Jews at the same time!   Obviously giving money to the Jews and not Hitler/Nazi's is the right thing to do.   Hence, these companies violated my trust and well-being.   They gave money to my enemy who would terminate me from my job, deny me housing and send me to a Internment camp.  Therefore, goodbye Target and Best Buy!  The CEO's of these companies have been insensitive to our reaction and do not even comprehend their actions!  What takes so long to "fire" these Neanderthals?
