Actually no. TNA signed a limited appearance total deal with RVD for the year. And TNA was just about to use all of RVD's contracted appearances up.
So RVD is taking a little vacation until it's the right time to use him again later on in the year.
Same thing that happened to Mick Foley earlier on in the year.
