People who strength train sometimes experience a sense of euphoria that results from an exercise-induced release of opiate-like compounds called endorphins. They can make you feel exhilarated as well as calm and relaxed, and are a great stress reliever.
Working out is a great way to get some alone time and even blow off some steam. If you experience tension, burn it off with your morning cardio or take it out on your resistance bands. You'll feel more relaxed and peaceful at home, get better sleep and feel happier throughout the day.

The Advocate / Sep 22, 2010The state of Florida will immediately stop enforcing its ban on adoptions by gay people after Wednesday's decision by a state appeals court that the three-decade-old law is unconstitutional, Gov. Charlie Crist said Wednesday.
"The unanimous 3-0 decision deals a critical blow to Florida's 33-year-old law banning adoption by gay men and lesbians, and most likely sends the case to Florida's highest court for resolution."
The decision from the third district court of appeal in Miami will allow Frank Martin Gill, the gay father at the center of the case, to keep the two sons he and his partner adopted in 2009 after fostering the boys for several years.
"I'm very pleased with the ruling on behalf of the Gills," Crist told reporters in Tallahassee. "It's a great day for children. Children deserve a loving home."
Crist had previously supported the state's gay adoption ban, but earlier this month, suggested his opinion on the ban had softened. In a position paper for his U.S. Senate campaign released earlier this month, he expressed support for "hospital visitation, inheritance and adoption rights; opposition to the ban on gays serving in the military; support for anti-discrimination laws and appropriations for HIV and AIDS programs."
The appeals court decision is not the final word on the law. Gill and his legal team at the American Civil Liberties Union are hoping to take the case to the Florida supreme court to obtain a final statewide ruling on the law.
Remember: Boycott Target and Best Buy for donating money towards anti-gay political candidates/organizations and to Proposition 8 (California) to prevent gay marriage. The Formal Boycott began this past weekend. I stopped shopping these stores - even though I want a new washer/dryer and new clothes for the Fall. I would not purchase "Blood Diamonds," nor should a person / organization be contributing funds to both Hitler / Nazi's and the Jews at the same time! Obviously giving money to the Jews and not Hitler/Nazi's is the right thing to do. Hence, these companies violated my trust and well-being. They gave money to my enemy who would terminate me from my job, deny me housing and send me to a Internment camp. Therefore, goodbye Target and Best Buy! The CEO's of these companies have been insensitive to our reaction and do not even comprehend their actions! What takes so long to "fire" these Neanderthals?
