*The show opened with Jack Swagger cutting a promo in the ring about
"beating" Big Show last week, despite the fact that Swagger actually lost by
disqualification. As he brags about his "victory", Show comes down to the
ring and beats down Swagger until he is jumped from behind by Cody Rhodes.
World Heavyweight Champion Rey Mysterio comes down to make the save
*SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long announces that tonight's main event
will feature Rey Mysterio defending the World Heavyweight Championship
against Jack Swagger
*Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston defeated Dolph Ziggler in a
non-title match
*Backstage, CM Punk is shown with his arm in a sling
*Matt Hardy is announced as a special guest on The Peep Show, hosted by
Christian. Before the segment takes place, ladders are set up in the ring.
During the segment, Hardy announces again that he has been reinstated and
reminds everyone that Drew McIntyre is out of the WWE indefinitely due to
work visa issues. Hardy attacks Christian to end the segment
*Backstage, Cody Rhodes is seen looking at himself in a mirror and calling
himself "dashing". He says that his motivation for his attack on Big Show
was the Money in the Bank Ladder Match
*A match between Kane and Luke Gallows never gets underway as Kane is
attacked by the members of the Straight Edge Society. As Kane fights back,
Serena enters the ring and begs him to not attack CM Punk. A video is then
shown on the Titantron of Serena drinking at a bar on Memorial Day and being
confronted by the SES members. Punk is shown with the group, meaning he was
not the one who attacked The Undertaker and put him in his "vegetative
state". Serena is then left alone in the ring as the segment ends
*MVP defeated Chavo Guerrero. Before the match, Chavo said he wanted an
Intercontinental Championship match if he won
*A video package is shown for the new Ricky Steamboat DVD set
*Kelly Kelly defeated Michelle McCool
*World Heavyweight Champion Rey Mysterio makes an appearance and cuts a
promo about his win at the WWE Fatal 4 Way pay-per-view event. It is then
announced again that Mysterio will defend the title against Jack Swagger at
WWE Money in the Bank next month
*Tonight's main event was then changed to a tag team match, with World
Heavyweight Champion Rey Mysterio and Big Show defeating Jack Swagger and
Cody Rhodes by disqualification due to Swagger not releasing his ankle lock
submission hold on Mysterio. Mysterio continues to sell his "injury" as the
show comes to a close
