- Boycott advertisers of Glenn Beck on Fox News as well as all of FOX NEWS! Glenn has lied about Health-care, called our President a racist, and is anti-gay rights.
- We demand immediate end of DADT. It is out-right discrimination.
- Boycott Bill O'Reilly and FOX News and their advertisers. Bill discussed a French commerical by McDonalds that was meant to show that McDonalds is Gay Friendly. Bill said what is next? Is McDonalds going to get be Al-Qaida friendly as well? Further, Bill said that McDonalds would never show a gay friendly commercial in the USA. We view this as Bill comparing Gays to Al-Qaida. How dare these people make this comparison. Come on McDonalds, we want to see a USA Gay Friendly commerical on Network TV! I will eat your burgers everyday for 365 days in a year if you do this!
- Boycott Arizona because of their uncivilized anti-Immigration Law that encourages racial profiling and increases hatred towards minorities. A remedy: Demand Republicans to support Immigration Reform. So Far, Republicans will not cooperate. Are we all suppose to walk around with Birth Certificates in our hands? Are we all suppose to "look 'White' or go to jail" (until all documents prove you are American)? What if Arizona does not like Gay People? Will that person be hastled for vertification of being a American? Oh Wait, Arizona does not have laws protecting gay people nor rendering them equal rights. Oops! "My Bad" - for not remembering. I guess "Arizona does not like gay people." Gay in Arizona and tanned? You better have your papers!
Diet & Fitness:
- Did you complete your Diet Journal today? Get it done!
- Did you do any physical activity? If not, make a point of it by tomorrow!
- It is our hope that these photos shall inspire you!
Today's Health/Excercise Tip:The Feathered Breathing TechniqueSome people have a tendency to hold their breath or sometimes even hyperventilate while exercising. Poor breathing techniques prevent oxygen from being delivered throughout the body. However, oxygen is crucial to exercise. It combines with glycogen and fat to produce energy and give you the strength to continue working out. I recommend a technique known as feathered breathing.
This method helps you control your breathing when oxygen uptake is needed over a sustained period of exertion and prevents you from holding your breath or hyperventilating. Feathered breathing is very simple, and with a little practice you will master it in no time. Simply take a deep breath in just before you begin a weight-lifting exercise. Then, in a controlled pattern, exhale with short bursts. When your lungs have emptied, take another deep breath in, and again exhale with short breaths throughout the exercise. Continue using this method throughout the entire set.
And Now, Model Wars!
This group is called "Peckers PICS." The English - slang definition of "pecker" is to pluck at the truth. Therefore, we peck at items such as Gay Men's Health and Male Fitness, Gay (LGBT) Politics & Issues. In this section you may peck at each photo in order to decide the winner of the "war of the fittest!" Whereas, who is the model that may inspire you to exercise and "get fit?" Warning: This may stoke you!

Gay student who was beaten speaks out
June 27, 23010, Updated / abc13.com / by Andy CerotaHOUSTON (KTRK) -- Houston's gay, lesbian and transgender community celebrated the city's diversity with Saturday night's pride parade. For one college student it's especially meaningful, after he was beaten and robbed at school. He believes he was targeted because of the way he looks. The pride parade typically draws over 150,000 spectators. This year's them is pride not prejudice. For a local college student who believes he was targeted for being different, the festivities are reminder.
"We're HCC out students and allies," said Lance Reyna.
As a 29-year-old gay transgendered man, Lance Reyna knows all about adversity.
"All the bigotry and hatred and intolerance and discrimination I have faced," said Reyna.
He knows he looks different, yet he is undeniably proud of who he is. And he's celebrating that this pride weekend.
"We're all unique in our own way," Reyna said.
And as a student at Houston Community College, he always thought of school as a safe place until he was attacked in a bathroom at knifepoint.
"He was like, 'Hey queer, I need you to be quiet, cooperate, and give me all your valuables,'" Reyna said.
But Reyna put up a fight.
"He punched me here and elbowed me in the same spot and by that time I'm falling to the floor," said Reyna. "He just kept punching me and kicked me and took my wallet and ran off."
Reyna chased after him but he got away. The attack left the student with a concussion. But that's not what hurts him the most.
"With it being pride week this week, it makes me feel like I'm a target," he said.
Reyna is still shaken but instead of letting fear force him into silence, he is facing adversity head on and speaking out.
"I shouldn't have to be ashamed to walk down the street because I present myself in a different way," Reyna said. "I feel the person I am on the inside shouldn't be affected by how I look on the outside."
HCC released a statement saying in part, "The Houston Community College Police Department is investigating all of the possible leads. We are working closely with authorities to find and arrest the suspect in this case. We are committed to providing our students, faculty and visitors a safe environment."
"Every gay and lesbian person who has been lucky enough to survive the turmoil of growing up is a survivor. Survivors always have an obligation to those who will face the same challenges."
