Take Action:
- Boycott advertisers of Glenn Beck on Fox News as well as all of FOX NEWS! Glenn has lied about Health-care, called our President a racist, and is anti-gay rights.
- We demand immediate end of DADT. It is out-right discrimination.
- Boycott Bill O'Reilly and FOX News and their advertisers. Bill discussed a French commerical by McDonalds that was meant to show that McDonalds is Gay Friendly. Bill said what is next? Is McDonalds going to get be Al-Qaida friendly as well? Further, Bill said that McDonalds would never show a gay friendly commercial in the USA. We view this as Bill comparing Gays to Al-Qaida. How dare these people make this comparison. Come on McDonalds, we want to see a USA Gay Friendly commerical on Network TV! I will eat your burgers everyday for 365 days in a year if you do this!
- Boycott Arizona because of their uncivilized anti-Immigration Law that encourages racial profiling and increases hatred towards minorities. A remedy: Demand Republicans to support Immigration Reform. So Far, Republicans will not cooperate. Are we all suppose to walk around with Birth Certificates in our hands? Are we all suppose to "look 'White' or go to jail" (until all documents prove you are American)? What if Arizona does not like Gay People? Will that person be hastled for vertification of being a American? Oh Wait, Arizona does not have laws protecting gay people nor rendering them equal rights. Oops! "My Bad" - for not remembering. I guess "Arizona does not like gay people." Gay in Arizona and tanned? You better have your papers!
- Did you complete your Diet Journal today? Get it done!
- Did you do any physical activity? If not, make a point of it by tomorrow!
- It is our hope that these photos shall inspire you!
Today's Health/Excercise Tip:The GI DietSick of counting carbs? You'll love eating by the glycemic index.
So how does it work? Pure glucose (sugar) rates a 100 on the GI index and is the base against which all the other foods are measured. Other foods high on the index include ice cream and dried fruit, where foods low on the index include apples and beans.
Although diets tend to emphasize foods that are low on the GI, a food's GI rating isn't the only thing you need to consider. For example, brown rice actually ranks higher on the index than a Mars bar. Does this mean that a gooey convenience food will fit better into a healthy diet plan than fiber-filled grains? Dream on!
Remember that the glycemic index only measures the blood glucose response to a food. If the food is also high in fat and protein, it will have a lower GI rating but won't necessarily be healthy. Because the candy bar contains fat (even though it's the saturated, artery-clogging kind), the body's insulin response is slower, placing the bar lower on the index than foods without fat, such as brown rice.
Confused?
Use this basic rule of thumb for following the glycemic index: Nutritious foods can be high on the index, so just pair them with another nutritious food that contains lean protein and healthy, unsaturated fats to give them a better GI rating. For example, if you're having brown rice, drizzle some olive oil on a grilled chicken breast and eat that too.
Using the glycemic index as a guideline for healthy eating can help alleviate mood swings, fatigue, depression, and energy crashes. So although it may be hard initially to swap that donut for an apple, your body will thank you in the end.
This group is called "Peckers PICS." The English - slang definition of "pecker" is to pluck at the truth. Therefore, we peck at items such as Gay Men's Health and Male Fitness, Gay (LGBT) Politics & Issues. In this section you may peck at each photo in order to decide the winner of the "war of the fittest!" Whereas, who is the model that may inspire you to exercise and "get fit?" Warning: This may stoke you!

Friday, 25 June 2010 / BBCEuropean nations are not legally obliged to to allow same sex marriages, the European Court of Human Rights has ruled. The court said that individual countries were best placed to decide on their own laws on this this issue.
Two Austrian men brought a case to the court saying their fundamental rights were breached because Austria does not recognise same sex marriage.
But the court said there was no Europe-wide consensus on the issue.
'Connotations'The judges said there was "an emerging European consensus" that same sex partnerships should have legal recognition, but said individual states could decide how far they went in recognising the legal status of partnerships.
There are "deep rooted social and cultural connotations which may differ largely from one society to another" the court said.
Six EU states have legalised gay marriage and 10 more have same-sex partnerships, which carry the same legal status as marriage.
But many more countries in the 27-member union do not recognise same sex marriage and it is barred by the constitutions of some countries.
Horst Shalk and Johann Kopf sought a marriage permit in Vienna in 2002, but were turned down because Austrian law only recognises marriage between a man and a woman.
"Every gay and lesbian person who has been lucky enough to survive the turmoil of growing up is a survivor. Survivors always have an obligation to those who will face the same challenges."
