Take Action:
- Boycott advertisers of Glenn Beck on Fox News as well as all of FOX NEWS! Glenn has lied about Health-care, called our President a racist, and is anti-gay rights.
- We demand immediate end of DADT. It is out-right discrimination.
- Boycott Bill O'Reilly and FOX News and their advertisers. Bill discussed a French commerical by McDonalds that was meant to show that McDonalds is Gay Friendly. Bill said what is next? Is McDonalds going to get be Al-Qaida friendly as well? Further, Bill said that McDonalds would never show a gay friendly commercial in the USA. Imagine, Bill is comparing Gays to Al-Qaida.
- Boycott Arizona because of their uncivilized anti-Immigration Law that encourages racial profiling and increases hatred towards minorities. A remedy: Demand Republicans to support Immigration Reform.
- NEW: Boycott Target and Best Buy for donating money towards anti-gay political candidates/organizations.
- Did you complete your Diet Journal today? Get it done!
- Did you do any physical activity? If not, make a point of it by tomorrow!
- It is our hope that these photos shall inspire you!
Today's Health/Excercise Tip:Low-Cal Diets Bad for DiabeticsVery low-calorie diets don't mesh well with most diabetics. People with type 2 diabetes who are extremely obese should consider such diets, but most need a full, balanced meal plan to maintain proper blood glucose levels.
However, one exception was highlighted in a 2007 U.S. study that found low-cal, low-sugar diets could help a select group of diabetics: diabetes patients with rare transplants of pancreatic cells. The dieting patients could extend the lives of their transplants and stay off insulin therapy, according to the study.
Extremely low-cal diets are not for people with type 1 diabetes due to the risk of hypoglycemia. Someone with diabetes and kidney disease should avoid such diets because of their high-protein content. Very low-calorie diets require consumption of lean meat and an array of vitamin supplements, which can be costly. Most people who follow such diets regain all the weight they lost within five years, the American Diabetes Association found.
This group is called "Peckers PICS." The English - slang definition of "pecker" is to pluck at the truth. Therefore, we peck at items such as Gay Men's Health and Male Fitness, Gay (LGBT) Politics & Issues. In this section you may peck at each photo in order to decide the winner of the "war of the fittest!" Whereas, you should select the guy that may inspire you to exercise and "get fit!" Warning: This may stoke you!

Gay marriage revealed the worth of my own
Judge Vaughn Walker has overturned Proposition 8 - just in time to save marriage from the mess heterosexuals have made of it.
When I was growing up in the 1970s and '80s, the institution of marriage seemed more like a gory roadside smash-up than the loving union of one man and one woman.
My parents are now divorced, of course, as are the parents of the mother of my child. Shelly and I got together in 1994, lived and traveled together for years, moved to San Francisco in 2000, and became parents in 2004. But in all those years, we never married. We didn't consciously reject marriage, mind you. It just didn't mean very much to us.
That began to change as I started to take my son to San Francisco's playgrounds, a period that happened to come right after our city's season of same-sex weddings. Even so, at first I didn't realize how many of the other parents I met were gay and lesbian. I still assumed breeding was what straight people did.
And I remember the first time I met Jackie and her toddler Ezra; beckoned by her friendly smile, she was one of the first stay-at-home moms I decided to talk to. Later I saw Ezra with a woman named Jessica, and I thought she was his babysitter.
Wrong. Jessica was one mommy, and Jackie was the other.
Fortunately, I figured this out before my new friends discovered my ignorance. Later, Jessica (the non-biological mother) told me that it drove her crazy when people assumed she was the nanny, which put her in the position of having to explain her relationship to her own family. Embarrassed, I didn't tell her about my early assumption, and I still haven't told her.
When the California Supreme Court approved same-sex marriage in May 2008 neither Jackie nor Jessica had to propose; they just knew, as soon as they heard, that they would marry - and they did on Oct. 18, at the home of a friend in Santa Rosa, Ezra by their side.
"It was wonderful to see everyone there and to feel their support," Jackie told me. "Most of Ezra's friends have a mommy and a daddy, and so I think it was huge for him to have all those friends come together and see us married."
When Californians rejected their marriage in 2008 by voting for Proposition 8, its impact on our community of families was ugly and devastating; many of Jackie and Jessica's straight friends and family told me that they cried when they heard the news. I just felt angry.
These feelings on the part of heterosexual moms and dads revealed to me that families like Jackie and Jessica's aren't merely tolerated in our community; they are an integral part of our lives in San Francisco. An attack on their lesbian marriage - for that's how we perceived Prop. 8, regardless of its intent - felt like an attack on all of us, straight and queer alike.
Today, Shelly and I are at long last married, and with Judge Walker's decision, I hope we will soon be seeing more and more gay and lesbian couples join us in pulling marriage back from the brink of irrelevance.
Watching the battle for same-sex marriage unfold in San Francisco taught me, after a lifetime of ambivalence, that marriage is indeed something precious, something worth defending.
It might strike some folks as ironic that I needed a lesbian wedding to teach me that, but that's the nature of institutional renewal: Just as the black voting rights struggles of the 1960s taught previously apathetic young whites the worth of voting and civic participation, so this new civil rights struggle has something to teach us all about the value of commitment and family.
"Every gay and lesbian person who has been lucky enough to survive the turmoil of growing up is a survivor. Survivors always have an obligation to those who will face the same challenges."
....Jake
