    Seeing Eye to Eye
     
    One of my favorite sayings is, "You will never become who you want to be by remaining who you are." It's a good motivational tool to promote healthy lifestyle change and goal achievement. If you're ready to become who you want to be, I offer you a challenge today that just may jumpstart your journey.

    I challenge you to look at yourself in a mirror, deeply gaze into your eyes and repeat the following 2-3 times a day: "You will never become who you want to be by remaining who you are." Say these words to yourself as sincerely as if you were saying them to a dear friend or a loved one. Repeat this phrase for one week and see what happens. I think you may be surprised by the sleeping giant that that's staring back at you in the mirror! It's about time you and the person you want to be begin seeing eye to eye!

    This group is called "Peckers Pics."  The English -  slang definition of "pecker" is to pluck at the truth. Therefore, we peck at items such as Gay Men's Health, Male Fitness, Gay (LGBT) Politics & Issues.  In this section you may peck at each photo in order to decide the winner of the "war of the fittest!"  Whereas, who is the model that may inspire you to exercise and "get fit?"  Warning: This may stoke you!

    Alexandre Despatie
    Alexandre Despatie (born June 8, 1985) is a Canadian diver from Laval, Quebec. He was the World champion at the 1 and 3 m springboards from 2005 to 2007 and is the first, and so far only, diver to have been World champion in the three categories (1, 3 and 10 m platform). He is also a 36-time Canadian senior diving champion. He was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

    Lady Gaga Attends VMAs with Discharged Gay and Lesbian Soldiers

    Lady Gaga was the big winner on last night's MTV VMAs—she took home eight Moonmen. Gaga arrived in a wacky/beautiful Alexander McQueen creation, but what's making big news is the entourage that accompanied her. The four soldiers at her side were were gay people who were discharged under DADT.

    "I'm here for a very, very important cause tonight," Gaga told MTV. "These are all my friends and they are with SLDN, which is an organization that was founded in 1993 under the reaction to the Don't Ask, Don't Tell policies. Their stories are very inspiring and there's so much we can do right now."

    When accepting for Best Female Video for "Bad Romance," Gaga again drew attention to the gay community. She thanked the soldiers and also thanked the gays for remaking her videos over and over again.

    The service members were former West Point cadet Katie Miller, who resigned in August to protest the policy; and former U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. David Hall, former U.S. Air Force Major Mike Almy and former U.S. Army Sgt. First Class Stacy Vasquez, who were all discharged.

    "Every gay and lesbian person who has been lucky enough to survive the turmoil of growing up is a survivor. Survivors always have an obligation to those who will face the same challenges."

    Remember:  Boycott Target and Best Buy for donating money towards anti-gay political candidates/organizations and to Proposition 8 (California) to prevent gay marriage. The Formal Boycott began this past weekend. I stopped shopping these stores - even though I want a new washer/dryer and new clothes for the Fall.  I would not purchase "Blood Diamonds," nor should a person / organization be contributing funds to both Hitler / Nazi's and the Jews at the same time!   Obviously giving money to the Jews and not Hitler/Nazi's is the right thing to do.   Hence, these companies violated my trust and well-being.   They gave money to my enemy who would terminate me from my job, deny me housing and send me to a Internment camp.  Therefore, goodbye Target and Best Buy!  The CEO's of these companies have been insensitive to our reaction and do not even comprehend their actions!  What takes so long to "fire" these Neanderthals?
