Take Action:
- Boycott advertisers of Glenn Beck on Fox News as well as all of FOX NEWS! Glenn has lied about Health-care, called our President a racist, and is anti-gay rights.
- We demand immediate end of DADT. It is out-right discrimination.
- Boycott Bill O'Reilly and FOX News and their advertisers. Bill discussed a French commerical by McDonalds that was meant to show that McDonalds is Gay Friendly. Bill said what is next? Is McDonalds going to get be Al-Qaida friendly as well? Further, Bill said that McDonalds would never show a gay friendly commercial in the USA. Imagine, Bill is comparing Gays to Al-Qaida!
- Boycott Arizona because of their Hateful anti-Immigration Law that encourages racial profiling and increases hatred towards minorities. A remedy: Demand Republicans to support Immigration Reform.
- NEW: Boycott Target and Best Buy for donating money towards anti-gay political candidates/organizations.
- Did you complete your Diet Journal today? Get it done!
- Did you do any physical activity? If not, make a point of it by tomorrow!
- It is our hope that these photos shall inspire you!
Today's Health/Excercise Tip:Is There a Diabetes-Thyroid Connection? Those with diabetes often wonder if their disease puts them at risk for developing thyroid problems.
It may, says the American Diabetes Association (ADA). The thyroid gland in your neck secretes thyroid hormone. Low levels of thyroid hormone (known as "thyroid failure") are common in people with type 1 diabetes. Thyroid hormone gives you energy and helps maintain other organ systems in your body.
Get a blood test for thyroid hormone once a year, particularly if you feel more tired than usual or have other symptoms, such as constipation, dry skin and feel cold most of the time, the ADA says. Treatment is easy and inexpensive. It is also very important because when low thyroid hormone is untreated, it can lead to many medical problems.
Remember that other medical problems can occur in people with diabetes that are not directly related to high blood-sugar levels, says the ADA.
This group is called "Peckers PICS." The English - slang definition of "pecker" is to pluck at the truth. Therefore, we peck at items such as Gay Men's Health, Male Fitness, Gay (LGBT) Politics & Issues. In this section you may peck at each photo in order to decide the winner of the "war of the fittest!" Whereas, you should select the guy that may inspire you to exercise and "get fit!" Warning: This may stoke you!
Remember your participation in discussion of health / news articles - appearing in this message is greatly appreciated!

Continuing his makeover from Republican to independent U.S. Senate candidate, Gov. Charlie Crist on Monday affirmed his support for civil unions, adoption by same-sex couples, and doing away with the military's ban on openly gay soldiers. Equality Florida, the state's leading gay rights group, called Crist's statement on a range of gay issues "the most comprehensive, pro-LGBT equality stand of a sitting governor in Florida's history.''
Crist's Democratic opponent for Senate, U.S. Rep. Kendrick Meek, called it "too little too late.'' He and the Republican nominee, Marco Rubio, noted the governor had backed a 2008 amendment to the state constitution banning same sex marriage, flip-flopped on the military's "don't ask, don't tell policy'' earlier this year and opposed gay adoption in his 2006 campaign.
The dust-up reflected a central question facing voters evaluating Florida's open U.S. Senate race: Is Crist a political opportunist, as Meek and Rubio contend, or an independent who puts "people ahead of politics,'' as he says in his new television ad?
"It's never too late to support gay rights,'' said Crist's advisor Eric Johnson, a Democrat who took issue with Meek's criticism. "If Kendrick Meek is truly a supporter of gay rights, he should be applauding Crist for these positions.''
Crist has been increasingly tilting leftward as he seeks to siphon Democratic votes from Meek and pitch himself as the only true foil to the conservative Rubio.
In the first formal position paper released by the campaign, Crist laid out his position on nine issues relating to gay rights, including his support for a federal ban on discrimination based on sexual orientation and for allowing gay citizens to sponsor their partners for legal immigrant status.
But it was the sections on adoption by same-sex couples and the military's policy on gay soldiers that piqued the attention of his rivals.
Both the Meek and Rubio campaigns circulated mailers from Crist's 2006 campaign for governor, which blasted his Democratic competitor, Jim Davis, for supporting gay adoption. It said Davis ``is opposed to traditional families'' and "turned his back on our values.''
Crist's new position paper says this about Florida's ban on adoption by same-sex couples: "We need to take politics out of adoption decisions. That is why I oppose Florida's current law that requires Family Law judges to ignore what is right for a child in order to adhere to what Florida law blindly demands. There is only one question that matters: What is in the best interest of that child?''
It's unclear what, if anything, Crist can or will do as governor to follow through on his support for adoption by gay couples. The state is currently appealing a ruling by a Miami-Dade circuit judge who approved the adoption of two half-brothers by a North Miami foster parent.
"If the state wins, the children will be removed from the only stable home they've ever had, and we've asked the governor to do what he can,'' said Nadine Smith, executive director of Equality Florida. "We're going to continue to push him because in addition to being a candidate, he's the sitting governor of the state of Florida, and he's indicated a willingness to help.''

"Every gay and lesbian person who has been lucky enough to survive the turmoil of growing up is a survivor. Survivors always have an obligation to those who will face the same challenges."
Remember: Boycott Target and Best Buy for donating money towards anti-gay political candidates/organizations and to Proposition 8 (California) to prevent gay marriage. The Formal Boycott began this past weekend. I stopped shopping these stores - even though I want a new washer/dryer and new clothes for the Fall. I would not purchase "Blood Diamonds," nor should a person / organization be contributing funds to both Hitler / Nazi's and the Jews at the same time! Obviously giving money to the Jews and not Hitler/Nazi's is the right thing to do. Hence, these companies violated my trust and well-being. They gave money to my enemy who would terminate me from my job, deny me housing and send me to a Internment camp. Therefore, goodbye Target and Best Buy! The CEO's of these companies have been insensitive to our reaction and do not even comprehend their actions! What takes so long to "fire" these Neanderthals?
