Dixie Carter Says Change Is Coming To TNA, Not A Surprise

Dixie Carter clarified on last night's Bound For Glory Kickoff show on the
official TNA Wrestling website that the forthcoming announcement on the 10/7
live edition of Impact will be a "change" not a "surprise". Carter obviously
did not reveal the change.
As we've reported multiple times, there were discussions all summer long
about TNA's future on pay-per-view. Multiple ideas were pitched to stop
running monthly pay-per-views and instead air live Sunday night specials on
Spike TV. Pay-per-view buy rates have fallen so low TNA is believed to be
actually losing money on running them each month.
We do not have word if this is the change TNA plans to make but can confirm
this was a "major change" talked about and tested out (on the Impact after
Hardcore Justice last month) this summer.
