Pash, I've been a vegetarian for 22 years.
Whey protein added to smoothies is fantastic - a great protein.
Also, I eat 2% cottage cheese every day with blueberries if I have them.
And, quinoa is a great protein rich grain.
Also baked/flavored tofu, seitan (mock duck) and tofurky fake meat brats are fantastic.
Morning star foods veggie burgers, fake chicken nuggets are good too.
I just need to avoid the pasta and the buns and breads to keep off the weight.
Thanks for being a vegetarian. The planet and animals thank you.

Hi Group,
First of, thanks Jake for all your efforts on this. I love the pics that you have been posting and are truly a great motivator.
Need some advice on diet for vegetarians.. I dont eat any sort of meat, fish or eggs and my only source of protein so far has been sprouts, milk, cheese.. all i believe also consists of high fat.
If you could help me with the diet that I could follow that will be great. I am currently at 150lbs and at 5.5". Trying to build more muscles and ultimately lose about 20 lbs in a period of 6 months.
Will appreciate any inputs that you have on this.
Thanks,
Pash
