"According to Mike Aldren, Kurt Angle has been pulled from the ongoing TNA European tour due to his fiancé Giovanna Yannotti giving birth to their baby several weeks prematurely. Yannotti was due to give birth in mid February.
What happened was she ended up being rushed to the hospital due to extreme blood pressure that caused her to pass out. Due to her medical condition, as well as concern for the baby, doctors decided that it was necessary to induce labor.
She gave birth to Giuliana Marie Angle at 5.5 pounds and 18 inches long. Despite the premature birth, the baby is said to be doing well. Yannotti is currently listed in intensive care and doctors are undergoing procedures to attempt to bring her blood pressure into a controlled range.
Angle received the phone call and is on his way back to the United States with the support of TNA.
