What is the status regarding Jerry Brenda and the Post Intellingencer (PI) in Paris, TN??
Moderator: If you go to his last 2 articles in the PI, you will see that Jerry Brenda) wrote bbout the life of Adolf Hitler. Actually, he copies the article from the internet! Brenda calls it a experiement. You will see that it is written to appear like the life Of Barack Obama. Therefore, don't attack it for comparing Hitler to Obama as I did earlier and others did. We know it was penned to make it look the same. But, we are talking to idiots. Best to hit him on using Hitler, Nazism as some one he appears to admire.
Brenda's most current article is the typical angle of the conservative media regarding Trayvon that states we are rushing to try Zimmerman and allow the law and courts to decide. I have interjected on my thoughts and there are more of my comments regarding my thought awaiting to be approved by the PI. The links I leave in this group always bring members to the latest article of Jerry Brenda each week. In a next few days, the link shall change to his next article. Link to the original article can not be shared as the PI only leaves articles for the public for just 2 weeks. For last 2 weeks, none of the protest statements have been approved. While members should still send them as I do, please send your 2 cents on his hateful articles in a separate statement as well. I now believe this would be the best policy.
If all members would take a hobby and find 1 small town newspaper of their own, learn the editorial writers for who they are. It is time that we make a difference. For safety, change your name if you like, or if you live in that town. Engage with conversation in all the editorials. I have done this for 10 months and I know it has made a difference in several editorials. I do see others stepping up to the plate. They are building courage. As they do so, I can slow down and allow them to take over. When they need back up, I am there for them for support. If members need our support, send us the info, and we can do the same as we have done to Jerry Brenda.
It appears Jerry Brenda will not be going anywhere. Unless he violates FCC laws and we need attorneys to watch him. Or does he violate hate laws? But the newspaper is aware that there is a problem with disgruntled readers (such as us). I contacted the advertisers of the Paper as well. But, I may have been the only one. That was not enough of a impact. However, the liberal writers of the paper (one who is brilliant, will be meeting with me personally, his name is Tony Kendall) are stepping up to the plate. They have noticed that more of their comments are being approved. I write them and tell them when comments do not go through, or do not go through in full. Further, Tony Kendal of the PI addressed the Trayvon murder and next week will address Jerry Brenda's Hitler article.
With over 16000 members from just this group alone, we have so much power, if people would really step up. I know that 10 do. Now we need the rest.
The idea is, using logic, can we swing these towns back into democratic territory. In 2004 they went Democratic. Once a black man ran for president, things changed. Now they need common sense. The Trayvon Martin case is a logical step as well. Every person must treat the case as if Trayvon is their son. if so, no-one would take this wait and see approach!
