Boycott "Whole Foods" Grocery Stores: Their CEO is against Health Care Reform. Also, Whole Foods is blocking unionization. Check out Trader Joe's instead. Due to the boycott & pressure from stockholders, their CEO has stepped down; But, remains on the Board. Further, Whole Foods has made no retraction of these anti-Healthcare reform comments & continues to support Republican agenda. -
Boycott Exxon OIL. Do not purchase their GAS. "Exxon scored as the worst company for the LGBT to work for!" In fact, before Exxon purchased Mobil Oil, Mobile had same gender partner benefits. Well, that changed for those employees when Exxon purchased Mobil - as same gender-partner benefits went out the door! Therefore, as we have choices, we don't need Exxon. -
Boycott advertisers of Glenn Beck on Fox News as well as all of FOX NEWS! Glenn has lied about Health-care, called our President a racist, and is anti-gay rights. -

Belgian Gay Pride; May 15, 2010 Rekers case again shows shame of gay adoption ban THE ISSUE: Your tax dollars paid for this embarrassment. The fact that Florida has the strictest law in the country banning gay adoption is embarrassing enough.
Now, when you add the George Rekers fiasco â€" a combination of hypocrisy and tens of thousands of wasted tax dollars â€" you can add "shameful" to "embarrassing. " The only hope is some good will come out of all this, and Florida lawmakers will get rid of an archaic ban on gay adoption that has no place in 21st century society.
Rekers, you may have heard, is the anti-gay psychologist who was paid over $120,000 by the state of Florida to testify as an expert witness in a trial defending the ban on gay adoption.
Rekers was hired on the recommendation of attorney general and gubernatorial candidate Bill McCollum. Judge Cindy Lederman, who ruled the state's gay adoption ban was unconstitutional, said Rekers' testimony couldn't be considered credible. And now McCollum is appealing the ruling in that case.
Making it even more shameful is Rekers' latest exploit, when he vacationed in Europe with a gay male escort he met through Rentboy.com. Rekers has acknowledged taking the trip, but said he didn't have sex with the escort, Jo-Vanni Roman. Rekers said he only hired Roman to help him carry his luggage on the trip.
Earth to Rekers: If you want somebody to help you with your bags, pay a bellman five or 10 bucks. They'll be happy to oblige.
Earth to McCollum: Drop the state's appeal of the gay adoption ban.
Gay men and woman can be foster parents in Florida, and they can certainly provide good homes if allowed to adopt and make the parenting bond permanent. There is no credible link between sexual orientation and the best interests of the child.
The George Rekers case has shown again how shameful and embarrassing this whole gay adoption ban and court case are. Getting rid of the ban is the only answer.
BOTTOM LINE: Long past time to get rid of ban on gay adoption.
