Like any company, the employee can choose to work or not work for them. If people find working for the WWE is too dangerous for their liking then they can do something else.
I always risk cutting fingers off at work but it is my choice to work there.

??? Brain damage IS mental illness. To say that not everyone with brain damage kills his family is to blame the victim - Benoit had brain damage induced, which no longer made him rational.
And Benoit Sr has a point - if the company thought about their talent as anything more than disposable commodities, they would put a stop to the most dangerous aspects of "sports entertainment".
Even if they were forced to provide a health and retirement plan, they would be more careful. Yet, as it is, anything goes as long as they aren't caught using steroids, because that might get the regulators to have a closer look at what they do.
