The Hammer won the World Tag Team Titles numerous times with Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake. Finisher was the Figure Four Leg Lock. Yes The Hammer teamed with HTM. He was mostly a heel character. Greg Valentine is in fact a WWE Hall Of Famer according to wwe.com.
Also one little note of trivia. Remember the scene in "The Wrestler" when Randy The Ram had to fight Necro Butcher in that Hardcore Match. That was inspired by Greg Valentine doing that EXACT same match WITH Necro Butcher according to the director.
