Today's Health/Excercise Tip:
Exercise Fights the Blues

Ever wonder why you feel so good after working out? It's not just your imagination at play – psychologists and exercise physiologists have found that exercise may actually work as well as drugs for treating depression. A Duke University study tested this theory by recruiting 156 men and women age 50 and older who suffered from major depression. They split the study participants into two groups. One group walked or jogged for 30 minutes three days a week, while another group simply took the antidepressant Zoloft.

At the end of four months, both groups improved dramatically. But the real surprise came when the researchers checked back in with the participants six months later. Thirty-eight percent of the Zoloft group had fallen back into depression, compared to only 8% of the exercise group. So I say, when you're feeling blue, just throw on your walking shoes!
And Now, Muscle Wars!
This group is called "Peckers PICS."  The English -  slang definition of "pecker" is to pluck at the truth. Therefore, we peck at items such as Gay Men's Health and Male Fitness, Gay (LGBT) Politics & Issues.  In this section you may peck at each photo in order to decide the winner of the "war of the fittest!"  Whereas, you should select the guy that may inspire you to exercise and "get fit!"   Warning: This may stoke you!

Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson Draws Flak Over His 'Kind Of Gay' Remark About Acting
Times Newline / June 2, 2010

The A-Team" and plays the role of BA Baracus.

"Acting is kind of gay…it makes you soft," the UFC star and aspiring actor said. "You got all these people combing your hair and putting a coat over your shoulders when you're cold," he added.

According to media reports, Jackson responded with "barely contained fury" after a crew member made a homophobic remark at him.

The reports further claim that Jackson responded by calling him a "punk" and kicking him off the set.

However, Jackson's comments have drawn fire from all corners including media analysts. Several media reports bashing Jackson were published recently.

Jackson had dismal time in the ring as well, as he lost his UFC 114 match against fellow MMA fighter Rashad Evans.

According to reports, Jackson said that he regretted choosing "A-Team" movie over his wrestling career.

"It would be hard to [act and fight at the same time] if you're gonna take time off and fight guys accountable here in the UFC…I've just got to think about which one I want to do," he recently said.

But his "A-Team" co-star Bradley Cooper believes that Jackson should continue his acting stint.

"In my opinion, he's the best B.A. there can be," he said. "It feels like a real coming-out moment for Rampage."

"The A-Team" hits the box office on June 11.
