    What to Eat For Lasting Energy
     
    Do you find that you need a nap before bedtime even rolls around? If you're getting enough sleep at night but still feel exhausted by 4 p.m., it may be time to reevaluate your nutrient intake. Magnesium is vital for cellular energy production and helping your muscles to function properly. It also helps you work out more efficiently. And remember that an effective workout will increase your calorie burn, improve your fitness and help you stay alert during the day.

    Despite the vast array of benefits magnesium offers, a study by Fitness magazine reported that people fall short of the RDA by almost 30%. To help provide your body with the energy you need and meet your daily magnesium requirement, cook up some halibut or shellfish. If you're a vegetarian, try black beans (my personal favorite), whole grains, avocados (love them), nuts, and dark leafy greens such as spinach. It's best if you get enough of this mineral through the foods you eat, but if you choose to take a supplement, then make sure you eat it with a meal so your body will be better able to absorb the nutrient. What else can you do to stay energized? Eat less sugar!

    This group is called "Peckers Pics."  The English -  slang definition of "pecker" is to pluck at the truth.     A "Gay" Oval Office

    When was the last time the Oval Office got a makeover, much less one that is classified under the phrase "gay makeover." Designer Michael Smith recently got a chance to redo the office for President Barack Obama and boy did he make it into a manly office for our leader.   When the phrase gay makeover pops into the head, a pink lamp coming to the mind, however when it is classified as "gay makeover" it is simply meant that the designer is gay.   The designer choose to make the office Michael Smith is a popular designer who has been featured in 'Elle Decor', 'W', and 'Architectural Digest'; Smith is a designer that respects the privacy of his clients and has not commented on this project. Obama appointed Smith to the Committee for the Preservation of the White house in February. Whether or not it classified as a 'gay makeover', just because the designer is a gay man is left up to the people who view his office and their judgment.

    The question seems to be how much the office revamps cost and what the actual office looks like.   The funds for redoing President Obama's oval office makeover have not been paid for by any taxpayer money. The White House has said that the revamp was paid for by the non-profit White House Historical Foundation.  The office is done with new lamps, wallpaper, reupholstered couches and chairs, with a custom made rug with quotes.  The rug, made with quotes from Martin Luther King Jr. and four presidents. The oval office was not completely revamped; the office still has the same curtains, resolute desk and portraits that have been there previously.  Everything used to remodel the office was American made, donated and priced at an adequate amount; the interesting fact about the renovation was that the previous office redo were done by previous President's were not necessarily made in the USA.

    The oval office gets redone by each president adding, removing or adjusting furniture, pictures and knick-knacks to make the office home to each sitting president.  So every four to eight years the office gets redone to current presidents' needs, attitudes and personal touches; which help the president work daily.  The office is done in warm tones, modern touches and history will never leave the office.  The office has changed, but remained the same and will hopefully give Obama energy to work the progress of our country.

    Remember:  Boycott Target and Best Buy for donating money towards anti-gay political candidates/organizations and to Proposition 8 (California) to prevent gay marriage. The Formal Boycott began this past weekend. I stopped shopping these stores - even though I want a new washer/dryer and new clothes for the Fall.  I would not purchase "Blood Diamonds," nor should a person / organization be contributing funds to both Hitler / Nazi's and the Jews at the same time!   Obviously giving money to the Jews and not Hitler/Nazi's is the right thing to do.   Hence, these companies violated my trust and well-being.   They gave money to my enemy who would terminate me from my job, deny me housing and send me to a Internment camp.  Therefore, goodbye Target and Best Buy!  The CEO's of these companies have been insensitive to our reaction and do not even comprehend their actions!  What takes so long to "fire" these Neanderthals?
