THQ takes a page from Electronic Arts & is offering downloadable content for "Smackdown vs RAW 2011".

"In August, THQ announced that it would be taking a cue from Electronic Arts' Online Pass initiative by charging used-game purchasers for access to WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2011's online modes. That won't be the only experimental element of THQ's WWE strategy this year, as the publisher has also announced a new way in which gamers can access downloadable content for the wrestling sim.
The program is called Fan Axxess, and it allows purchasers of WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2011 to gain access to "select" DLC released throughout the life span of the game for a one-time cost of $10 (800 Microsoft points). Fan Axxess is available for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 editions of the game, and WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2011 will also see release on the PlayStation 2, PSP, and Wii on October 26.
Fan Axxess will begin this holiday season with the release of the wrestling sim's first add-on.
The pack will go for $9.99 and contain the following:
* DLC 1: Lex Luger, British Bulldog, Layla, Wade Barrett, David Otunga and Justin Gabriel. Access to alternate ring attire for various wrestlers and a NXT arena.
* DLC 2: Alternate ring attire for various wrestlers and a WCW arena.
* Instant Hidden Content Unlock: Players can unlock all hidden content in the game with the press of a button. Including hidden characters, titles and ring attires that are unlocked throughout the game.
* Superstar Attribute Customizer: Players can redistribute ratings and attributes of the game's wrestlers how they want."
And for those that are asking why Daniel Bryan isn't a part of it. Reports are that he WAS a part of it but when he got fired they replaced him with Justin Gabriel. When Bryan came back it was simply too late to add him. Bryan WILL definitely be in "Smackdown vs RAW 2012" if he's still with WWE.
