Weight loss--Child's play: Interesting article, I had started learning to listen to my body more and not overeat and it sure has paid off, I've lost quite a bit of weight. I am sure that I was on my way to 400 and now I am down to 330, I don't weigh myself that often so I'm not sure how close I was to 400.

Model Wars: I wanted to vote for someone else but 14 caught my eye, anyone know who he is?

And the double murder: I don't know what to think of it yet. I also hear there was an event that Austin Police looked the other way on that occurred Christmas Day--stuff like this pisses me off...but I will look at developments in FL and see what the story is. My heart goes out to their families having to lose someone close to them in such a brutal way

Eat Like a Kid

Whether its broccoli or pizza, you probably know that getting children to eat can sometimes be a struggle. They take a bite, squirm around as they chew, and, of course, play with their food. If you're lucky, they do eat a nutritious meal – but they always stop when they've had enough, not necessarily when their plate is clean. Getting an adult to eat, on the other hand, is rarely a problem. In fact, it's usually the opposite – we can't stop ourselves!

Is there something we can learn from how a child eats? You bet! Children listen to the instinctual cues that their bodies send, so they stop when they're full. You need to get in tune with these signals. If you pay close attention, you'll notice that the pleasure you get from food tends to diminish as you continue to eat. This is a sign that your body has had enough. Listen to your body and eat just until you're satisfied, not stuffed, and weight management will be child's play.

Gay Couple Are Murder Victims in Manors Double Homicide

The two men whose bodies were found inside their rented home at 2513 NE 8th Avenue in Wilton Manors were domestic partners Kevin Mark Powell, 47, and Steve Adams, 52, former residents of Hollywood, Florida.

Their bodies were discovered by the Wilton Manors police after the sister of one of the victims had called authorities because her brother had not arrived at her home for a planned holiday gathering.

Kevin Powell had been very ill with Diabetes and Manors police were doing a wellness check.

Powell, whose hobby was arts and crafts, had once been featured on the Home and Garden channel after creating a home for his dogs within his home, including pet sized lighting and furniture.

Investigators are looking for the victims' vehicle, a black 2003 Saturn Vue with Florida tag 989VRL. The investigation continues. At this time, investigators do not have a motive and have not named any suspect(s).

"I was like, oh my God!" said neighbor Mitch Geasler whom police woke up early Sunday morning as they began their investigation.

Geasler said the block where they live is transient, filled with snowbirds, renters and vacationers at a nearby bed and breakfast.

Geasler also told a tv cameraman from channel 4 that "the two victims were passionate about small birds they kept in a large tented aviary in their backyard."

Another neighbor, Brentley Taylor, told Channel 7 that both men "were very nice gentlemen," and he, like the rest of his neighbors, were in a state of shock over the killings.

For insvestigative purposes, the Wilton Manors Police Dept. has not revealed the manor of death, other than to say it was a certain homicide.

The killings add to the number of gay men already murdered in South Florida this year, featured in a special report by SFGN on November 3, 2010 - Issue 41.

Anyone with information about this double homicide is urged to contact WMPD Detective Biagio Balistreri at 954-390-2150. To provide anonymous information about this case, the public is asked to contact Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS

URGENT:  Boycott Gold's Gym, Target and Best Buy for donating money towards anti-gay political candidates/organizations and to Proposition 8 (California) to prevent gay marriage.  Hence, these companies violated my trust and well-being.   They gave money to my enemy who would terminate me from my job, deny me housing and send me to a Internment camp.  Therefore, goodbye Gold's Gym, Target and Best Buy!  The CEO's of these companies have been insensitive to our reaction and do not even comprehend their actions!  What takes so long to "fire" these Neanderthals?
