Report: John Cena Injured During Cage Match in Wilkes-Barre, PA

We have received word from a number of fans in attendance at tonight's WWE
live event in Wilkes-Barre, Pa that John Cena appeared to be injured during
a cage match against former Nexus leader Wade Barrett. A fan wrote into
wrestling source PWTorch.com with the following:
" I don't know if it was a work but it looked pretty serious to me. In the
main event of Cena Barrett, Cena looked like he may have suffered a very
serious injury. My wife even said to me the refs are yelling end it end it.
Cena could barely stand and even addressed the crowd at the end of the show.
I am paraphrasing but 'If I need to take some time off now, there is no way
i'm gonna be carried out.' If it was a work, I am sorry to bother you and
Cena really can act despite what his movie reviews say."
We are awaiting more details on the situation but as of this posting John
Cena appears to be injured and was unable to put any weight on one of his
leg.

Another Fan Report on John Cena's Apparent Injury

WWE Fan Angelo Ambrosecchia was in attendance for tonight's RAW house show
in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. She reported the following regarding John Cena's
apparent injury:
"The cage match with Wade Barrett ended out of nowhere, Cena couldn't even
stand up. They had to end the match fast and get the trainers out. Cena had
to be helped to the back, apologized to the crowd and said he thinks he will
have to miss some time. It looked really bad. You can tell at the end
something was wrong when Barrett climbed the cage and basically sat there
for about 2-3 minutes waiting for Cena to get up and stop him from getting
over the cage, but he couldn't stand on the knee."
If John Cena is indeed badly injured he will require time out which could
involve surgery. This could not come at a worse time for WWE as they lead
into their WrestleMania 27 storylines. We will have more updates on this
story soon.
