I'm counting the days til MD comes out in favor of this bill and legalizes it. NOM has been dragging its heels against civil marriage and are facing lawsuits from it's dealings with Question 1. (Does anyone know what happened with that?) they made a video saying that the economy was more important--if they cared about the economy they would know that marriage equality would bring a lot of money in MD. However, it could be in peril if it's challenged because there's a clause in the state Constitution where they can challenge a law and put it to a popular vote. I'm hoping that maybe a lawsuit could overturn a voter initiative. That seems to be the way it goes --- On Fri, 2/11/11, Jake <jakewest_tn@yahoo.com> wrote:
