I think that if the MD public goes to petition the bill for a referendum vote, it will most likely be overturned. I hope not. The next step might be challenging the constitutionality of such a referendum.
CA Supreme Court will now rule on the issue of standing and if the group that placed it on the ballot as well as Imperial County Clerk's office can appeal. I think that this case will directly affect MD when it's decided when a constitutional challenge comes about if marriage is voided by a popular referendum

If the bill is signed by the governor, and opponents petition for a referendum to overturn it, the voters will have the final say. If that happens, the bill will be defeated. Anytime an issue is left up to the voters, it is the gay community that loses because we are not part of the "moral majority" and are vastly outnumbered by religious zealots and ignorant heterosexuals. We will all be cast into hell because of our "sins" and "abnormalities". God bless the moral majority. ----- Original Message ----- Sent: Thursday, February 17, 2011 10:35 PM Subject: [Peckers_Pics] Hair Wars, PICS; Feb 18, 2011/Safe PICS For All Ages

By James Beckerman, M.D. / February 15, 2011 Grapes can be a great weight-loss solution to replace higher calorie snacks any time of day. At only 2 calories apiece, they can surprisingly satisfy a sweet tooth and - because of their high water content - they make you feel full. (Extra tip: Keep them on the stalks; it'll take just a little longer to eat them, and you'll feel you've had a substantial snack.) Grapes are also wonderfully portable - they're ideal to take to work to replace high-calorie vending machine snacks in the afternoons. Not quite sweet enough for your after-dinner dessert? Try freezing them for an hour - they'll taste like small popsicles. Or drizzle a tiny bit of honey over them to bring out their natural sweetness. Take Action: And Now, Our War of the Fittest! This group is called "Peckers Pics." The English - slang definition of "pecker" is to pluck at the truth. Therefore, we peck at items such as Gay Men's Health, Male Fitness, Gay (LGBT) Politics & Issues. In this section you may peck at each photo in order to decide the winner of the "war of the fittest!" Whereas, you should select the guy that may inspire you to exercise and "get fit!" Warning: This may stoke you!
