Hard to believe, but they are scared to pass it. I do not know if it started with me, as i threatened a boycott. I contacted every paper in the state. They did not print my letters. I contacted stockbrokers as well. i contacted a lot of leaders and they knew their will be boycott. They know after they passed a law, whereas the state removed the city of Nashville's gay friendly law requiring contractors doing business with Nashville to have gay friendly requirements, (Nashville passed the ordinance that was gay friendly and state removed their right to have it), we were on verge of boycott and a do not say Gay in school Bill would formerly spark the boycott and this would be bad news during a recession. Even worst for a state that is now ranked #49 under republicans in education out 0f 50 states as of last week.
So they have temporarily delayed the Don't say gay bill, and I expect it may die as the public is slowly turning on the tea party.
I am not attempting to go on a ego trip. But, i really did go after the, Further, i did help to stop them from voting in the democratic house (at the time) to prevent gays form adopting children. I got a hold of a key Democratic Representative and got him to change his mind. He got it removed from being voted from, and got enough reps to kill it if it came to a vote at that time.
I find that in TN, that interpersonal relations accomplish a lot than in far larger states, or other states in general. In tn. if you volunteer, show your hard support, you will get something out of it. "Volunteer" is a key word.
Tomorrow I will look into the funeral donations and call some friends that can afford it and do what I can. I am sure they have no money. I want to see what they were planning. Too bad they can't list the bullies and get their parents to put up the money. Notice, no church in TN was mentioned. I did start posting story in blogs. In TN, this suicide is a insult and they will all ignore it.
The Tea Party will only call him a sodomite.
