For rock-solid abs, try this seated Russian twist.
Step 1: Sit on the mat with your knees bent, feet together. Keep your chin up off your chest and abs tight as you lean back slightly and cross your feet, lifting them about 2 inches off the mat, engaging your abs. Extend your arms away from your chest with your palms pressed together and turn to one side to begin.
Step 2: Feather your breathing as you slowly rotate your torso as far as possible to the other side through a count of 10 seconds.
Step 3: Hold and squeeze at the maximum tension point for 2 seconds.
Step 4: Rotate back to the other side through a count of 10 seconds.
Step 5: Repeat three times without resting.

STOP SHOPPING AT TARGET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Update 4/8/2011: Target lost its case to stop the LGBT from canvassing in front of their stores. A huge PR Disaster for TARGET! Perhaps Target should go out of business as they betrayed their investers and customer base. Target contributed massive funds to a politician who would like to exterminate gays. Now, Target can not stop us from Boycotting them, nor picketing, nor talking to customers near their stores; although, Target allows a anti-gay company such as the Salvation Army to stand outside their door and speak with customers and raise money. Isn't this a double standard?
- End DOMA (Defense of Marriage Act). Prevents Federal employees and Gays in the Military from gaining equal benefits. Prevents Gay Partners from gaining equal benefits.
- Pass a LGBT friendly ENDA (Employee Non-Discrimination Act). ENDA would prevent employment discrimination of LGBT workforce.
- Boycott Salvation Army as they will not hire Gays! "DO NOT DONATE TO THEM."
- BOYCOTT "Chick-fil-a" for donating money to anti-gay groups.
- BOYCOTT KOCH INDUSTRIES PRODUCTS- to include their products: Angel Soft toilet paper / Brawny paper towels / Dixie plates, bowls, napkins & cups / Mardi Gras napkins and towels / Quilted Northern toilet paper / Soft 'n Gentle toilet paper / Sparkle napkins / Vanity fair napkins / Zee napkins / Georgia-Pacific paper products & envelopes / All Georgia-Pacific lumber & building products (INVISTA Products) / Lycra / Stainmaster Carpet. The billionaire - Koch brothers are ultra republican - tea bag founders/supporters that do not support causes of the LGBT community.
- Boycott WALMART - The National Gay and Lesbian Task Force criticized Wal-Mart for denying employee benefits to same-s-x partners and for failing to prohibit discrimination based on gender identity. By comparison, the group said two other chain stores with a strong presence in New York, Costco and Walgreens, did much better.
- "Tune Out Trump", Boycott all Trump Hotel, casinos, holdings, The Apprentice and NBC Network! At CPAC, Trump said he is considering a run for president as a Republican. In a interview with the Des Moines Register, Trump added that he opposes all forms of legal recognition for gay couples, not just marriage. "They should not be able to marry," he said. So why does NBC keep the Apprentice when Donald Trump has stated he may run for president? After making racist remarks about Obama and recv'g public backlash, Trump decided not to run for president after NBC renewed his awful TV Show. How can NBC re-new the clown's show after he pulled such hateful shenanigans?

New MTV series tells gay teens that things improve once you have survived the high school years
'It Gets Better'

THE PREMISE of "It Gets Better," that life improves dramatically after high school for gay teenagers, is tempered by the tacit acknowledgement that before then, it can get pretty bad.
The subjects of the show also remind us that while peers can be cruel, the first biggest challenge often is telling your parents.
In the end, though, "It Gets Better" argues that honesty is almost always the long-term ticket to shedding the stress and getting a fair shot at happiness.
It focuses on two teens as they struggle with coming out, a declaration neither their parents nor friends will rush to embrace, and one transgendered post-teen who has already been through the toughest parts.
"It Gets Better" is a prelude to "Savage U," the Dan Savage series that launches this spring with the goal of reassuring gay teens they are not alone.
Savage is seen here explaining he went through the painful process himself and thinks it's essential that gay teens know better days lie ahead.
It's worth noting that life gets better after high school for a huge percentage of the population, gay or straight.
Still, gay students face the added challenge of a society that remains permeated with fear, mistrust, suspicion and discomfort.
One of the counselors here distills the issue nicely, though perhaps inadvertently.
"It doesn't get better," she says. "You get stronger."
Featured subjects in "It Gets Better" include the popular Gary, who says the stress of seeming like all the other kids has sent him to the hospial at least once.
We follow him to a gay, lesbian and transgender support group, which helps him prep for the task of telling his parents.
Another subject, Vanessa, is trying to convince her mother to accept her girlfriend as more than just a pal.
We see the problem when Vanessa's mother explains that she would rather see her child be almost anything except gay -- that for Vanessa to be gay would be a personal slap at her, as if she did something wrong.
That attitude, sadly common, does raise an issue with which "It Gets Better" briefly deals.
The gay person isn't the only one who has to make an announcement. Mom then also has to come out, in her own circle, as the mother of a gay person.
And no, that shouldn't be a big thing. As noted before, in many circles it still is.
The point: There are ripple complications that aren't dealbreakers, but can't be ignored.
The third primary subject here, Ayden, has the happiest role, because in several key ways he proves the show's title.
He's transgendered and is about to marry a woman. They face obstacles, like the birth certificate that says he's a woman, but clearly he's gone through much of the purgatory and come out the other side.
Maybe someday, this special suggests, that won't be a walk over hot coals.
Every gay and lesbian person who has been lucky enough to survive the turmoil of growing up is a survivor. Survivors always have an obligation to those who will face the same challenges."
