WWE taped this week's edition of Smackdown last night from the Rabobank
Arena in Bakersfield, California. Thanks to Wrestling News World reader Sean

* Rey Mysterio opens the show with a promo about how he's glad the world now
knows he wasn't behind the attack on The Undertaker. Alberto Del Rio makes
his debut and a match is setup for later tonight.
* Backstage, The Straight Edge Society isn't happy about what happened with
CM Punk at SummerSlam. Punk says tonight Luke Gallows and Serena will face
Big Show and Kelly Kelly. If they lose they're out of the Straight Edge
Society.
* Luke Gallows & Serena b. Big Show & Kelly Kelly when Serena pinned Kelly
Kelly.
* Backstage, LayCool are talking about Melina while Hornswoggle spies on
them.
* Kane, to a ton of heat, talked about laying out The Undertaker and why he
had to do it.
* Christian b. Drew McIntyre. After the match, "Dashing" Cody Rhodes hit the
ring and beat up Christian.
* Jack Swagger and MVP continue their program in a segment.
* Alberto Del Rio b. Rey Mysterio via submission.
Dark Match Main Event:
* World Heavyweight Champion Kane b. Jack Swagger & Rey Mysterio in a steel
cage match.
