WWE taped this week's edition of Smackdown last night from the Veterans
Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida. Thanks to Wrestling News World
reader Ricardo Mendez for providing us with full results. Below are full
results:
Smackdown (Airing Friday on SyFy):
* The show opened with World Heavyweight Champion Kane still looking for
Paul Bearer. Edge made him reduce to begging but he still wouldn't give him
back.
* Kofi Kingston b. Jack Swagger w/Eagle in a King of the Ring Qualifying
Match
* Alberto Del Rio b. Big Show via count out when Ricardo Rodriguez got
involved in a King of the Ring Qualifying Match
* Edge is shown with Paul Bearer in a bathroom.
* Drew McIntyre b. MVP in a King of the Ring Qualifying Match
* Edge was in the crowd with Paul Bearer. He challenged Kane to come and get
him. By the time Kane got to them, they were gone. They also filmed a
segment where he found an empty wheelchair in the crowd.
* Backstage, Rosa Mendes burned a turkey she was cooking for Hornswoggle.
Jack Swagger was in on the segment yelling at his Eagle. Hornswoggle decided
to eat the Eagle since the turkey was ruined and shot it was a
bow-and-arrow.
* Kelly Kelly b. Michelle McCool. After the match Layla assisted Michelle in
beating up Kelly Kelly but Beth Phoenix came out and made the save.
* Cody Rhodes b. Rey Mysterio when Alberto Del Rio interfered in a King of
the Ring Qualifying Match. Del Rio was on commentary for the bout.
