Re: [TOWWFFC] nxt

The point is that you're not supposed to follow them from a kayfabe perspective. Don't forget that as far as the WWE, there is no FCW, all new wrestlers are 'debuting' for the very first time once they appear on NXT, SD or RAW as if they were signed off the street.

Oh, absolutely. I'm very much in favor of them finding a name and gimmick that fits well while they're down there. It just seems like it'd be kind of hard to follow from a kayfabe standpoint. But yeah, them improving and becoming ready for WWE is much more important than whether everything makes sense on a show that relatively few people watch and has little to no bearing on the main product's storylines.

I don't mind them changing down there, it's what it's for...developing...if

1 gimmick doesnt work with someone try another...better than wasting that

time on RAW/SD

Whoops! Should have double-checked that one with a reputable source.

And that's hilarious. But didn't he go by Joe at first? Also, didn't Kaitlyn

change her name like twice down there, over a span of less than 6 months?

It'd be like she had Multiple Personality/Dissociative Identity Disorder or

something.

Clay's name is George Murdoch, but in no relation to Dick.

They explained Hennig's name change by him saying he's using his mother's

maiden name (which is obviously not true either).

I think Brodus Clay is Dick Murdoch's son. Byron Saxton was a commentator on

WWE's ECW. All I know about the others is that they wrestle in FCW. Sorry

that that's not much help.

Anyone know of anywhere to watch FCW online (other than the occasional

episode on YouTube)? I know that most of the people there are pretty green,

but I think it's interesting to see what kind of gimmicks and personalities

people will have before they get called up to the main roster.

Plus I want to see how they explained (or if they explained) such things as

Husky Harris and Mike McGillicutty all of a sudden changing their names for

NXT, Alex Riley being a heel on Raw and a face in FCW and AJ going from

being snooty and stuck up in FCW to bouncy Converse-wearing nerd on NXT.
