Take Action:
- Boycott advertisers of Glenn Beck on Fox News as well as all of FOX NEWS! Glenn has lied about Health-care, called our President a racist, and is anti-gay rights.
- We demand immediate end of DADT. It is out-right discrimination.
- Boycott Bill O'Reilly and FOX News and their advertisers. Bill discussed a French commerical by McDonalds that was meant to show that McDonalds is Gay Friendly. Bill said what is next? Is McDonalds going to get be Al-Qaida friendly as well? Further, Bill said that McDonalds would never show a gay friendly commercial in the USA. Imagine, Bill is comparing Gays to Al-Qaida.
- Boycott Arizona because of their uncivilized anti-Immigration Law that encourages racial profiling and increases hatred towards minorities. A remedy: Demand Republicans to support Immigration Reform.
- NEW: Boycott Target and Best Buy for donating money towards anti-gay political candidates/organizations.
- Did you complete your Diet Journal today? Get it done!
- Did you do any physical activity? If not, make a point of it by tomorrow!
- It is our hope that these photos shall inspire you!
Today's Health/Excercise Tip:Diabetics With Kidney Disease Should Eat More SoyType 2 diabetics who have kidney disease can reduce cardiovascular risk factors by consuming greater amounts of soy protein.
An Iranian study tracked 41 patients with type 2 diabetes for four years, and found that patients who ate soy protein showed lower levels of fasting blood sugar, total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, and triglycerides. Inflammation in the body and levels of urinary markers of kidney disease were also reduced. The study was published in the journal Diabetes Care.
Patients improved the condition of their heart, blood vessels and kidneys by consuming a diet of 35% animal protein, 35% textured soy protein and 30% vegetable protein, according to the study. To infuse soy into your diet, try swapping soy milk in place of dairy milk. Soy milk comes in a variety of flavors, including vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, or plain.
You may want to fortify your diet with tofu, a brick-shaped soy product steeped in protein and vitamin B. To prepare, sauté tofu in a teaspoon of olive oil and pair with veggies or a small serving of carbohydrates.

In this section you may peck at each photo in order to decide the winner of the "war of the fittest!" Whereas, you should select the guy that may inspire you to exercise and "get fit!" MoveOn Threatens National Boycott of Target Over Donation to Anti-Gay Candidate
By Zach Behrens / LAist / August 4, 2010
A donation of $150,000 from Target to a Minnesota gubernatorial candidate who supports Arizona's controversial immigration law, wants to rid the country of minimum wage and a longtime supporter of anti-gay issues has fueled discussion over a possible national boycott of the retailer.
The issue, however, appears to be now two-fold more than ever. It's not just about gay rights, but also a recent ruling as the donation is "one of the first high-profile companies to take advantage of the Supreme Court's Citizens United ruling (allowing companies to make unlimited expenditures on political campaigns)," according to the Huffington Post.
The progressive MoveOn. org sent a petition to its members about the issue, garnering some 200,000 signatures by Tuesday afternoon. "Since the Supreme Court decision allowing unlimited corporate spending in elections, ordinary Americans have been voicing outrage that this tips the scales of democracy even more towards those with power and money," MoveOn spokesperson Ilyse Hogue told HuffPo. "Target chose to test the waters and the people have spoken: people all over the country will vote with their dollars if Target and other corporations continue to meddle in our elections."
"Every gay and lesbian person who has been lucky enough to survive the turmoil of growing up is a survivor. Survivors always have an obligation to those who will face the same challenges."
