Take Action:
- Boycott advertisers of Glenn Beck on Fox News as well as all of FOX NEWS! Glenn has lied about Health-care, called our President a racist, and is anti-gay rights.
- We demand immediate end of DADT. It is out-right discrimination.
- Boycott Bill O'Reilly and FOX News and their advertisers. Bill discussed a French commerical by McDonalds that was meant to show that McDonalds is Gay Friendly. Bill said what is next? Is McDonalds going to get be Al-Qaida friendly as well? Further, Bill said that McDonalds would never show a gay friendly commercial in the USA. Imagine, Bill is comparing Gays to Al-Qaida.
- Boycott Arizona because of their uncivilized anti-Immigration Law that encourages racial profiling and increases hatred towards minorities. A remedy: Demand Republicans to support Immigration Reform.
- NEW: Boycott Target and Best Buy for donating money towards anti-gay political candidates/organizations.
- Did you complete your Diet Journal today? Get it done!
- Did you do any physical activity? If not, make a point of it by tomorrow!
- It is our hope that these photos shall inspire you!
Today's Health/Excercise Tip:Crunches, Sit-Ups, Squats: Do the Moves Ever Change?Ever wonder why exercises generally look the same, with just slight variations? That's because when it comes down to the basic paths of motion your muscles follow, there are really only a few directions they can go. So a squat will always follow the same path, as well as a curl, a press, and so forth.
The basic workouts haven't changed much over the last few years. What you should focus on is the sequence of the different moves. Be sure to start with beginning exercises then make your way to more advanced moves. And pay attention to the muscles you're strengthening. For example, you should first tone the most superficial stomach muscle (the rectus abdominus) before you start strengthening your deepest abs muscle (the transverse abdominus).
Here's another tip: Perform any cardio and strength training before breakfast. It'll help rev up your metabolism and optimize calorie-burn throughout the day. Good luck!
This group is called "Peckers PICS." The English - slang definition of "pecker" is to pluck at the truth. Therefore, we peck at items such as Gay Men's Health, Male Fitness, Gay (LGBT) Politics & Issues. In this section you may peck at each photo in order to decide the winner of the "war of the fittest!" Whereas, you should select the guy that may inspire you to exercise and "get fit!" Warning: This may stoke you!

Brighton, UK - Gay Pride; Aug 7, 2010
Cologne Pride 2010; July 4, 2010
MARY STEGMEIR, WCF Courier| Sunday, August 15, 2010DECORAH --- Iowa surprised the nation last year by becoming the first Midwestern state to legalize marriage for gay and lesbian couples.
On Saturday, the strategies that paved the way for the groundbreaking Varnum v. Brien Iowa Supreme Court decision --- and the fight to retain the right it granted same-sex couples --- were topics of discussion at Luther College.
More than 50 gay and lesbian rights activists from the Hawkeye State, along with supporters from Minnesota, Nebraska, Wisconsin and Illinois attended "Achieving Marriage Equality in the Heartland," a conference sponsored by the Northeast Iowa chapter of Parents, Families & Friends of Lesbians and Gays, or PFLAG.
"There is plenty work ahead of us yet, even for those of us who are proud to be Iowans and grateful that our state has made one step in the right direction," Jim Dale, an event organizer, told the crowd. "One of the things we've got to make sure is that the truth is out there."
In a unanimous opinion in April 2009, Iowa's highest court ruled the state's 1998 law defining marriage as the union of one man and one woman was unconstitutional. But the fight for equal marriage rights began long before that time, said Sharon Malheiro, a Des Moines attorney and founder of One Iowa, the state's largest lesbian, gay, bisexual and transsexual advocacy organization.
"We were on the ground talking about it for a couple of years before we filed a lawsuit," said Malheiro, who worked with Lamda Legal to lay the groundwork of Varnum v. Brien. "Then we had groups of people like you in the various communities, so that when issues came up, we could deflect what people were saying."
The conference kicked off Friday night with a barn dance. House Speaker Pat Murphy (D-Dubuque) and Harry Knox, director of religion and faith for the Human Rights Campaign, a national LGBT organization, joined Malheiro as keynote speakers.
Following the Iowa supreme court decision legalizing same-sex marriage Murphy, along with State Senate majority leader Mike Gronstal, released a statement saying "(W)e believe the only lasting question about today's events will be why it took us so long."
Both legislators also have refused to support efforts to outlaw gay and lesbian unions via a constitutional amendment.
"I can honestly say now, comfortably, I think there's a majority of Iowans that feel this isn't a big issue and that you should let people live their lives," Murphy said.
Still, marriage rights will play a major role in the November's legislative and judicial elections in Iowa. Bob Vander Plaats, who lost the Republican primary for governor, recently launched a campaign to oust the state's three Supreme Court justices up for retention this fall. Former U.S. House Speaker Newt Gingrich visited the State Fair in Des Moines on Friday to voice his support for the effort.
By rallying Iowa marriage equality supporters, and encouraging similar efforts in other states, conference organizers said they hope to solidify and spread social change. A CNN poll released Wednesday showed that 52 percent of Americans think gay couples should have the constitutional right to marry.
"The conversation is moving, and moreover, we're winning this conversation," said Knox, of the Human Rights Campaign. "The quest for us all now becomes, how do we --- in the most unitarian and nonviolent way possible --- punch through real solid victories."
"Every gay and lesbian person who has been lucky enough to survive the turmoil of growing up is a survivor. Survivors always have an obligation to those who will face the same challenges."

Remember: Boycott Target and Best Buy for donating money towards anti-gay political candidates/organizations and to Proposition 8 (California) to prevent gay marriage. The Formal Boycott began this weekend. I already stopped shopping these stores - even though I want a new washer/dryer and new clothes for the fall. Still, goodbye to Target and Best Buy! They won't get my money!
