WWE for whatever reason soured on tag team wrestling generally.
But in the old days The Funks, Briscos (Jack & Jerry and I've seen ROH Briscos in some great ones, too), 4 Horsemen, Valiants (2 out of 3 fall 45 min. bloodbaths before it was known as "hardcore"), Blackjacks, Midnight Express, Rock & Roll Express, Fantastics, Freebirds, Road Warriors, Assassins, Samoans, Hart Foundation, Bulldogs, Public Enemy, Gangstas etc. made great and wild tag matches a pretty regular occurence. So last night when we once again saw a GREAT tag match on TNA, it was almost surprising, and certainly what you'd LIKE to see on 2010 TV but rarely do.
