I heard Palin's Tea Party success rate was nearly 70%, but you are absolutely correct, most of the HIGH-PROFILE candidates --- except for Paul Rand --- were defeated.
I WANT Palin to actively seek The Republican nomination. Her miserable failure will be the only thing that gets her out of the daily press. Back to "her Alaska," where she is increasingly unwelcome. Watching her run will serve two purposes: It will expose her, once and for all, and it will expose the Republicans who will come out from behind the curtain to prevent her campaign.
As for "Dancing With the Stars"...Never seen it. Can't be bothered. It's diversion. (I know you were only joking with mentioning it.) DWTS, "American Idol," "Last Comedian Upright," "Favorite Chef," whatever --- all those things that are decided by "popular" vote among viewers are silly popularity contests, easily corrupted, and more than meaningless.

I've been trying to get a good count on how many candidates Palin campaigned for who lost this month's election. It seems to me all of her really high profile candidates lost -- like in the Calif. Gov's race, Nevada Senate race, Delaware's crazy witch and now Alaska's senatorial contest. To me, those seem like foreboding signs for Palin's political future and the Tea Party in general.
Now, if we can only vote Bristol off of Dancing With the Stars?
