The actions in Iowa and through out the Christian T-publican  party shows that we have a growing number of traitors in the US.  People who want to suborn the Constitution of the United States to an extremist desert, nomad morality as written in the first 5 books of the Old Testament.    Let me point out:  ALL elected officials in the United States who are sworn into public office put their hand on a copy of the bible and swear to uphold the Constitution of the United States.  They DO NOT put their hand on a copy of the Constitution and swear to uphold the Bible !!!   We are a society based on the rule of LAW.  We should not be ruled by the traditions of  3,000 year old  nomadic tribes who existed in the deserts of the middle-east.  It is totally STUPID thinking to try to live by those traditions.   We live in densely populated cities sometimes dozens of layers deep and sometimes a hundred stories tall.  Society is totally different and the rules must also be different.   Oh sure, we need honesty, and decency,  respect for our neighbors and many of the teachings of the bible still apply.  But we don'tt have tribal leaders with dozens of wives and we don't need to keep multiplying to fill the earth.  Our population is killing the earth now.  We don't need more humans beings than we already have.   My final point is that the word except does NOT appear in the US Constitution. Nowhere does it say: except for non-christians.  No where does it say: except for gays and lesbians  No where does it say: except for anyone.   According to our Constitution, all people are created equal and everyone is supposed to be treated equally under the law!
