Re: [Peckers_Pics] ReTeenagae son bullied

To Thomas Cummings
I totally understand where you are coming from I too am a Cherokee Indian and was a faithful Roman Catholic member I am a Sergeant, governor and Admiration son all roll up in one.
I got older I too had major troubles in excepting my sexuality I try suicide multiple times before I finally except sexuality and it was never going to change it over whelming that I finally had to come to terms into confess to my mom and dad that I was gay.
Knowing my mom was somewhat ok with the idea not completely happy with it she took it better then dad.
As for dad she went bananas giving me the act of not being his son to I was going to hell if I continue going the way I was going.
As for school bulling my worse bully was my next door neighbor Chris he started calling me " Caveman" where did he get the idea I will never know
So yes I know what you are going through.
To finalize everything I manage to finish high school and went out to college and own several of my family business from my college teachings.
As for my parents they finally came to terms about my sexuality and found out that I was not that tarible son they once thought they had long ago.
After many encounters with a therapist I finally came to terms with my sexuality.

It really caught my eye whenI saw your name! My name is Thomas Cummings and I havea similar story! I was raised in the Protestant church, sang in all the plays that were put on, usually a solo, then as I got older, my parents divorced and I started to rebel. Our pastor threatened to have me sent to a camp he knew of. I never went to church again until I met my partner I spent 11yrs with! He was catholic, I hated the catholic church! We were  invited to a friends Episcopalian Church for Friends Day and started going to that church regularly. My  partner and myself became Sunday School  teachers and the whole congregation knewwe were gay and knew we were together! They are so excepting of everyone!

In 2003, I left the Roman Catholic Church, after being amember for twenty years, serving all that time as a paid employee and ear ning a master degree from the University of Dallas (R.C).  I left over their poisitions on LGBT persons and their accuations toward th whole of the gay US clergy after the scand;als broke. I joined the Episcopal, where right s of LGBT persons are cherished and upheld.  I will keep this pre cious you ng man and his family in my thoughts and prayers.  Let us all do the same.,  Tom C
