*Spoilers* WWE Smackdown Taping Results From Tulsa, Oklahoma

WWE taped this week's Smackdown tonight from the BOK Center in Tulsa,
Oklahoma. Thanks to Wrestling News World reader Kevin Harrison for providing
us with live updates. Below are full results:
Smackdown (Airing Friday on SyFy):
* The show starts with highlights from what happened last week between Big
Show and Wade Barrett. Barrett and his new crew come out with Ezekiel
Jackson and introduce themselves as "The Core". Teddy Long comes out and
lets Wade know he is in charge and not some tripping computer and they will
not do what they did on Raw and there will not be any attacks like there
were on that show. Long says if you like Smackdown you can stay, but if you
don't, you can leave. Alberto Del Rio's music hits and he comes out and
introduces himself and says Smackdown is his show and it's his destiny to
win the Royal Rumble.
* Alberto Del Rio vs. R-Truth. R-Truth gets a big pop. The match spills to
the outside quickly but the match is interrupted when the Titantron shows
Teddy Long laid out backstage. Dolph Ziggler, Vickie Guerrero and others
tend to him. The match continues with Truth taking Del Rio back to the
outside after hitting a hurricanrana. They get back in and Del Rio takes
Truth off the top rope to slow his momentum. Meanwhile, the Titantron shows
medics working on Teddy Long and taking him away. Del Rio is able to lock
Truth into the LaBell lock to win the match. Back to the Titantron, an
ambulance drives away with Long in the back.
* Layla w/Michelle McCool vs. Beth Phoenix. Layla spends the majority of the
bout working Beth's arm while the crowd is into all of Beth's power moves.
Back and forth with Layla clearly over-matched. Winner, Beth Phoenix.
* Backstage, Rey Mysterio is shown entering the arena. He gets a tremendous
pop.
* Vickie Guerrero and Dolph Ziggler walk up to The Core who claim they had
nothing to do with what happened to Teddy Long earlier tonight and say they
will do what they can to help. Vickie tells Barrett's new faction she wants
someone to take out Edge so Ziggler will be victorious at Royal Rumble.
* Rey Mysterio vs. "Dashing" Cody Rhodes. Mysterio gets a huge pop. It's a
fact-paced match with Cody focusing on Rey's knee. Rhodes gets Rey to the
outside and beats him around the steel ring steps. Several quick pin
attempts leading to near falls. A drop toe hold by Mysterio sends Rhodes
into the ropes. Mysterio hits a 619 to get the match. Winner, Rey Mysterio.
* Backstage, Josh Mathews waits to give a report on Teddy Long but he's
interrupted by WWE Champion The Miz and Alex Riley. Mathews asks them why
they are there and Miz says he is the must-see WWE Champion and after what
he did to Randy Orton on Monday, he feels the need to share.
* Oklahoma native Jim Ross comes out for an in-ring interview. He gets a
tremendous pop from the crowd but Jack Swagger comes out and says he put
Oklahoma on the map. He says the state got too big for him which is why he
moved to Austin, Texas.
* Jack Swagger vs. WWE Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston in an Amateur
Wrestling Match. Swagger gets a lot of good take downs on Kofi in the first
period of the match to get early points. Kofi makes a late comeback but
Swagger wins with a score of 10-6. After the match Swagger and Kofi get into
it as Kofi connects with a move off the top rope to get a pop.
* Trent Baretta vs. Drew McIntyre. McIntyre dominates and gets the pinfall
victory. After the match McIntyre extends his hand but is rejected. He takes
out Baretta and Kelly Kelly comes out to tend to him. McIntyre leaves in
disgust.
* WWE Champion The Miz comes out with Alex Riley. The Miz gets a tremendous
amount of heat and makes fun of the crowd. He gloats over his attack on
Randy Orton from Monday night. Finally Edge's music hits and he comes out.
Edge gets on the mic and says "You're The Miz and you're done". Edge tells
The Miz he is about #30 on his list so get out of his ring. Riley is about
to leave but Edge hits him with a spear. Miz is on the apron and stares down
Edge but doesn't go after him. Edge's music hits and the crowd goes crazy.
* The Core comes out and they all get in the ring with World Heavyweight
Champion Edge. Vickie Guerrero comes out and announces Dolph Ziggler as
special guest commentator.
* World Heavyweight Champion Edge vs. Justin Gabriel. The Core is outside
the ring as Edge gets the early control of the match. Gabriel begins to get
control when he pulls the World Heavyweight Champion to the outside. Finally
Edge is about to get back in but Gabriel lands some kicks and a two count.
Gabriel attempts top rope move and is met with a dropkick by Edge. Gabriel
rolls to the apron and tries to kick Edge and ends up on the floor again.
Gabriel gets back in the ring where Edge is waiting on the turnbuckle.
Gabriel climbs up to go for the superplex but Edge tosses him off and gives
him a clothesline. Edge is only able to get a two count. Edge hits a DDT on
Gabriel and sets up for the spear but ends up hitting Wade Barrett then Heat
Slater. Ezekiel Jackson is too much as he clotheslines Edge which allows
Gabriel to get the win on the World Heavyweight Champion.
* All four enter the ring over World Heavyweight Champion Edge and the
attack begins. Everyone hits their respective finisher with Justin Gabriel
finishing it off with a 450 splash. All four stand over Edge and raise their
arms.
* Dolph Ziggler comes out and stands over Edge. When he goes for the attack,
Kofi Kingston and Rey Mysterio come out and make the save.
Dark Match Main Event:
* Rey Mysterio & WWE Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston vs. Alberto Del
Rio & Kane with Jim Ross as special guest referee. Kofi sets up Del Rio for
Rey who ends up hitting 619 off the top turnbuckle. Winners, Rey Mysterio &
Kofi Kingston. After the match, Alberto Del Rio gets into it with Jim Ross.
Mysterio and Kingston sneak up behind Del Rio and JR shoved him over. Big
pop for JR to end the show and send the crowd home happy.
