Alert: Target + Minnesota Forward + Tom Emmer = Support for a rather dangerous and radical political philosophy that diminishes LGBT people to pests that should be murdered. And "Target" is cool with this? In San Diego we peacefully canvassed customers near their stores. In return, TARGET is suing the LGBT community for voicing our right of FREE SPEECH! Now, Target lost in court! David beat Goliath! Return everything you bought to TARGET and tell them why! ....Boycott TARGET!!!!!

Take Action:Health - Wellness - Exercise - Reflections:Buy These to Help Lose Weight
By Emily Battaglia, July 20, 2011
You've finally decided it's time to get moving - literally - on your road to weight loss. You're armed with smart nutritional information and have chosen which kind of exercises best suit you and your goals. But for every dedicated dieter and exerciser, there are a few basic tools that come in handy for keeping motivation high.
First, while you shouldn't be a slave to the number on a scale, purchase one anyway so you have a tangible way to measure your progress.
Another must-have tool is a step counter, or pedometer, to keep track of how many steps you take within a day (the recommended amount is 10,000 steps).
Invest in some flattering, functional workout clothes and practical, comfortable shoes for your specific exercise of choice, and don't be afraid to splurge on some name brands.
You should also purchase a gym bag, gym towel and sturdy water bottle to help you feel organized and always prepared.
If you have some extra cash, look into purchasing an MP3 player, iPod or arm radio for your workouts. Music can be just the energy boost you need during exercise.
Finally, purchase a cheap notebook to use as a food and exercise journal or to keep track of daily caloric intake (a calculator will be useful, too), or register online at a calorie counting website.
With these few basic tools, you'll have more than just pure luck on your side.
- Boycott advertisers of Glenn Beck's radio show and his quest spots on Fox News. Glenn Beck is anti-gay rights. Update: Boycott Successful: Update 4/7/2011: Beck has been fired by FOX NEWS! Radio stations dropping Beck as well in several locations. Now, tell FOX to stop having Beck as a Guest.
- Update: DADT has been repealed. President Obama has kept his promise!
- Boycott Bill O'Reilly and FOX News and their advertisers. Bill discussed a French commercial by McDonalds that was meant to show that McDonalds is Gay Friendly. Bill said what is next? Is McDonalds going to be Al-Qaida friendly as well? Imagine - Bill O'Reilly compares Gays to Al-Qaida! Boycott Fox's Owner "Rupert Murcoch" and get him thrown in jail for illegal - political donations, corruption, greed, bribery, hacking!
- Boycott Arizona the home of "hater" - U.S. Senator John McCain. Arizona's Hateful anti-Immigration Law - encourages racial profiling and increases hatred towards minorities. A remedy: Demand Republicans to support Immigration Reform (The Dream Act). Further, Senator McCain voted against ending DADT and Blocked Immigration reform!
- Boycott Target, Best Buy, Gold's Gym - for donating money towards anti-gay political candidates/organizations. Update: (12/26/2010): Target is continuing to donate to anti-gay groups/causes/politicians. Update 03/08/11 - Lady Gaga Ends Target Partnership, Reportedly Over Target's Poor LGBT Stance. Update 3/25/2010 - Target displays their hypocrisy and Sues California Gay Rights Group for Lobbying Outside Stores. Target is attempting to block the LGBT right of free speech! STOP SHOPPING AT TARGET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Update 4/8/2011: Target lost its case to stop the LGBT from canvassing in front of their stores. A huge PR Disaster for TARGET! Perhaps Target should go out of business as they betrayed their investers and customer base. Target contributed massive funds to a politician who would like to exterminate gays. Now, Target can not stop us from Boycotting them, nor picketing, nor talking to customers near their stores; although, Target allows a anti-gay company such as the Salvation Army to stand outside their door and speak with customers and raise money. Isn't this a double standard?
- End DOMA (Defense of Marriage Act). Prevents Federal employees and Gays in the Military from gaining equal benefits. Prevents Gay Partners from gaining equal benefits.
- Pass ENDA (Employee Non-Discrimination Act). ENDA would prevent employment discrimination of LGBT workforce.
- Boycott Salvation Army as they will not hire Gays! "DO NOT DONATE TO THEM."
- BOYCOTT "Chick-fil-a" for donating to anti-gay marriage groups.
- BOYCOTT KOCH INDUSTRIES PRODUCTS- to include their products: Angel Soft toilet paper / Brawny paper towels / Dixie plates, bowls, napkins & cups / Mardi Gras napkins and towels / Quilted Northern toilet paper / Soft 'n Gentle toilet paper / Sparkle napkins / Vanity fair napkins / Zee napkins / Georgia-Pacific paper products & envelopes / All Georgia-Pacific lumber & building products (INVISTA Products) / Lycra / Stainmaster Carpet. The billionaire - Koch brothers are ultra republican - tea bag founders/supporters that do not support causes of the LGBT community.
- Boycott WALMART - The National Gay and Lesbian Task Force, force criticized Wal-Mart for denying employee benefits to same-s-x partners and for failing to prohibit discrimination based on gender identity. By comparison, the group said two other chain stores with a strong presence in New York, Costco and Walgreens, did much better.
- Remember David Kato, Gay activist - Uganda, who was slain because he is gay!
- "Tune Out Trump", Boycott all Trump Hotel, casinos, holdings, The Apprentice and NBC Network! At CPAC, Trump said he is considering a run for president as a Republican. In a interview with the Des Moines Register, Trump added that he opposes all forms of legal recognition for gay couples, not just marriage. "They should not be able to marry," he said. So why does NBC keep the Apprentice when Donald Trump has stated he may run for president? After making racist remarks about Obama and recv'g public backlash, Trump decided not to run for president after NBC renewed his awful TV Show. How can NBC re-new the clown's show after he pulled such hateful shenanigans? Boycott NBC! Boycott advertisers of The Apprentice and Trump's other business's. Don't shop at any bullding with Donald Trump's name to include Trump Hotels, Casinos, Condo's, Offices, Shops! The Donald has expressed extreme Hatred towards gays and blacks with his birther remarks and anti-gay rhetoric. Remember how poorly Trump treated Rosie O'Donnel? Now we know why he did that! It was hate against a lesbian as we now know he is biget. Unforgiveable! Again, Dump NBC because they air/re-newed Donald Trump's "The Apprentice"! Now the Donald Claims the Long Form Birth certificate is a fraud. And NBC keeps this guy?

For First Day of Gay Marriage, City Plans License
By JAVIER C. HERNANDEZ - New York Times - Jul 20, 2011
New York City officials, hoping to prevent confusion and disappointment as thousands of gay and lesbian couples prepare to marry, said Tuesday that the city would take the unusual step of limiting the number of marriages on Sunday, the first day the state will allow same-sex marriage.
Facing an influx of requests, the city said it would make available 764 marriage licenses through a lottery. Couples who are turned down for Sunday will be able to try again during the rest of next week, when the clerk's offices in all five boroughs will be open for two extra hours each day.
"The last thing we want to have happen is for couples to wait on line for hours and hours, only to walk away upset on what was supposed to be the biggest day of their lives," Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg said in a news conference at City Hall.
Mr. Bloomberg said the lottery, which is open to both same-sex and opposite-sex couples, was the "fairest way" to distribute licenses, given the unusually high demand. Over the past two weeks, the city clerk's office had received 2,661 license applications online, and an estimated 1,728 of those were from same-sex couples. Many more couples were expected to show up on Sunday without having initiated the process online.
Christine C. Quinn, the City Council speaker, acknowledged that some couples would be disappointed by the city's decision to hold a lottery. Still, she said, "We want to make sure that Sunday is not like a trip to Motor Vehicles."
As a consolation, Ms. Quinn said, the city would send certificates to applicants in the lottery to prove their participation.
The 764 weddings on Sunday will exceed the city's current single-day record by 20 percent, which was set on Valentine's Day in 2003, when 621 couples were married. On Aug. 8, 2008, a date considered lucky in Chinese culture, 610 couples were married. But on both of those days, city officials said, the vast majority of the couples had already obtained their licenses and were seeking to have their marriages solemnized by a city clerk.
Gay and lesbian couples cannot obtain licenses before Sunday because the state's same-sex marriage law will not take effect until then.
The lottery for marriage licenses opened on the city's Web site at noon on Tuesday and will close at noon on Thursday. The city said 400 couples entered the lottery on Tuesday; winners will be notified by noon on Friday.
Under the city's plan for Sunday, 400 couples will be able to marry in Manhattan, 112 each in Brooklyn and Queens, 98 in the Bronx and 42 on Staten Island. City officials said the numbers were proportional to the number of marriages performed at each borough's office on a typical day.
Some couples said they appreciated the efforts to avoid chaos. Alan Miles, who lives in Chelsea and has been engaged to his partner, Drew Glick, for seven years, said he had been growing frustrated trying to figure out how far in advance he would have to camp out at the clerk's office in order to secure a license.
"It's the fairest, best way to ration out those slots," said Mr. Miles, 45, an executive at the Nielsen Company.
Some residents said the city should have found ways to accommodate all same-sex couples on a historic day.
Maria Romagnuolo, 49, of Staten Island, who hopes to marry her partner of 21 years, Wendy Bloom-Romagnuolo, 48, on Sunday, said that the lottery was a "total joke" and that the city clerk's office should have stayed open all day.
"You do what you have to do," Ms. Romagnuolo said. "We waited long enough. Now it's our turn to be happy."
Marianne Nicolosi, interim executive director of the Brooklyn Community Pride Center, said many couples "really had their hearts set on being first."
"It took long enough to get gay marriage," Ms. Nicolosi added. "Now you have to be lucky enough to be one of the privileged few who can actually get married on that day?"
The proceedings on Sunday are expected to be more complicated because state law ordinarily requires couples to wait 24 hours after obtaining a license before getting married. But the city plans to make judges available on Sunday to waive the waiting period and to preside at wedding ceremonies.
Asked if he expected crowds to camp out during the week in hopes of getting a license, Mr. Bloomberg said, "It's not buying an iPad 2."
Mr. Bloomberg said he would exempt one couple from the lottery so that they could marry on Sunday: Jonathan Mintz, his consumer affairs commissioner, and John Feinblatt, his chief policy adviser. The mayor, who will officiate at their wedding at Gracie Mansion, said it was important to have an event to show the world what it was like to be married in New York.
"I can't think of a couple that more deserves it than two people who have devoted their lives to this city," Mr. Bloomberg said. "For the record, they are picking up the tab for all the expenses."
Ms. Quinn, who is gay, expects to marry her partner next year, and said she was not planning to try to get a license on Sunday. Mr. Bloomberg, who is divorced and lives with his longtime girlfriend, stepped to the lectern and added, "Nor am I."

Every gay and lesbian person who has been lucky enough to survive the turmoil of growing up is a survivor. Survivors always have an obligation to those who will face the same challenges."
