Re: [Peckers_Pics] To Jake

Thank you Jake. I do enjoy see what response models get. Maybe a Poll for each "War" would be in order. Included in the email along with the articles. Not sure if that's possible.

And, by the way, thanks to all those who reply to the articles. Especially with valuable input and expertise. Personal and professional.

Since there isn't a member's section I have to post this suggestion to the group.

I get, have, thousands of emails. I was wondering if there was a way to filter messages that are votes and those that are replies to issues that are in your postings? Or, if when replying to a post the members can change the subject line to reflect if it is a vote for a particular model, or the subject material accompanying the warring models?

I ask this, outside of the previously stated reason, because if there is an issue being discussed I would like to read and or respond. I've been deleted "Re:..." postings because I thought they were just member's votes on their prefered model. Then I happened to open a reply and discovered a discussion going on about an issue of interest. So I felt like I'd been missing out. :-(

Don't know if anything can be done to address this. If not I'm fine with it. Would just make it easier to determine which "Re:" I want to open and which I could just delete. Yes it only takes a few seconds, but, I have thousands of emails to go through.

Please, please, please, this note is for Jake and just a suggestion, or query as to what, if anything, can be done. I AM NOT COMPLAINING. So please, members, don't send me any emails chiding me. This isn't negative, so don't turn into something negative.

Thanks Jake, for making this forum available.

Moderator: It is ok and valid question. I have been deleting over 90% of messages that vote for a person/model, pic. I may have to increase it to 100%. I have been allowing all messages that include discussion of a topic other than voting for a model, person. They question of who to vote for is private ( as we don't weant 12,000 members saying who they like. I wish that nore members would only discuss the news articles, health issues. If you want to include a pic or model as part of the conversation than fine- but a discussion of health or news article is required. Unfortunately, the only way you can limit messages to one's i send ( not reply to), is by setting your email to "special messages." I send out all the articles, pics by special message only. But, i can not reply by special message as that is the way Yohoo programs groups. Yhaoo is "for sale." Yahoo attempted to change groups and elimainate pics, etc. They wanted thre groups to becomes blogs. Wwell, they got a lot of protests (including protests from me.). I have no idea what the end result shall be; but yahoo has suspended changes until it is sold as a company. Rumors have it that AOL is interested! As for members, always use "re" in subject line when applying to a message and please just reply with discussion of article... Thanks ...jake
