WWE taped this week's Smackdown last night from the BJCC in Birmingham,
Alabama. Thanks to Wrestling News World reader Kelly Josh for sending us
results. Below are full results:
Smackdown (Airing Friday on SyFy):
* Kofi Kingston b. Jack Swagger to retain the WWE Intercontinental
Championship
* Rey Mysterio & R-Truth b. Alberto Del Rio & "Dashing" Cody Rhodes.
* Trent Barreta b. Drew McIntyre
* Big Show b. Wade Barrett via disqualification when Justin Gabriel and
Heath Slater took out Big Show. Ezekiel Jackson ran out and joined in the
beat down. The Nexus on Smackdown consists of Barrett, Gabriel, Slater &
Ezekiel Jackson.
* Beth Phoenix b. Michelle McCool w/Layla
* The Cutting Edge feature with Edge, Dolph Ziggler and Vickie Guerrero was
up next. Edge had them air a clip of Ziggler hooking up with Kaitlyn on the
titantron and Ziggler got furious, attacking Edge. The segment ended with
Ziggler and Guerrero making out in the ring.
