TN is now a republican state that is attempting to pass a law to not allow the teachers to acknowledge the "gay" word in schools. meaning, gays, homosexuality - does not exist. what a shame that republicans will only make things worst. This harrassment may have been occuring at a time that the legistation was actually being discussed.
Further, once pres. Obama was elected president, they immediately became tea party central - as well as anti-gay. As some may remember, one of the 1st things that pres. Obama did do - was sign the "hate crime bill" in to law. Well this just got the haters in TN all upset" Haters came out of the closet and unleashed their hate on gay kids. With rise of ending DADT and installing a Republican TN Senate in 2008 and Republican House and Govenor in 2010, TN was very anti-gay. It is a depressing place for gay kids and there are a lot of them. Nashville is more moderate and progressive; but, they are surrounded by hicks as you go a few miles out. It is a shame!
This suicide will have no impact in TN. Not one local paper in small towns in TN will even print this story. So I will attempt to print it in comments in blogs in each and every paper online (if approved by paper - usually will not be approved, they are censured. As they will not approve me, I will use other names. Boy oh boy, do they hate me in TN).
