As I wrote a message to the group the other day, I said I was excited but cautious in being too excited! Although I do not live in new york, my partners daughter does, along with many friends living in NYC! I'm so excited for every GLBT individual, living in new york, to finally experience TRUE equality & civil liberties!!!! What an awesome gay pride weekend ahead for you guys! WOW! I agree that by New York, home of the infamous, historical Stonewall Riots, who then would have thought or imagined that 42 year's later, GLBT individuals would experience true equal rights, to include same-sex marriage??!! We all need to remember NY Governor Cuomo's STRONG & STEADFAST Commitment to the GLBT Community, a promise he campaigned on when elected Governor of New York! I definitely believe that "HIS" Personal Devotion & Dedication that he worked tirelessly on, is the main reason GLBT voices were heard & Legislators hearts were softened & changed!!! Personally, I can certainly see Governor Cuomo, run for The Presidency at some point soon in future Presidential Election's?! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!
