[Peckers_Pics] Male/Gay Health-Discussion-PICS It is so important to encourage and uplift our gay brothers and sisters........

 

It is necessary that we all in our own way seek to show and share the positive side of being Gay and the fact that we are LOVED and just as important as everyone else and we have a purpose.

I lost several friends to early deaths due to self esteem and issues coping with who they were by either slowy allowing alcohol, drugs and unsafe sex, to answer to negative feedback from people, churches, etc. that tried to make them think and believe they don't deserve a normal, healthy life and relationships with others!

After losing my best friend and others to such negativity and anti-gay sentiment. I wrote and dedicated my book, "Concerto of Life" to them and to encourage others going through what I experienced and learned regarding coping with negative stereotypes, ignorance and prejudice to find that self love is very important and finding others who will reinforce that foundation! As well as establishing that NO ONE else can dictate your reason and purpose for being here! And that we all have a purpose and it is no less because we are gay! I trust and hope my book will continue to share the important steps I found to self love, which is necessary to counter-act those who out of ignorance and their own self esteem issues seek others to prey on!

I feel I have made a difference every time someone has shared their positive feedback on my book, or other books focused on helping our gay brothers and sisters, especially the younger ones and those struggling with coming out and to what degree to come out [everyone's situation and path is different, meaning their method and degree of how and when to come out and to whom]to know you need a support base/group to provide positive reinforcement to your self esteem.

The thing is getting people to understand when we allow and tolerate one group of people to be targetted for hate, prejudice, ignorance and have their human rights attacked, then we open the door for it to happen to ANYONE or GROUP!!!
