I feel that those who weren't going to vote for him weren't going to vote for him whether or not he said he publicly supported the right to marry or not. I don't feel it's cost him the election. I feel that Obama will be re elected because people know the alternative is worse. Also the voter ID laws in many states worry me esp since most of the swing states have voter ID laws that will leave thousands of voters from the polls

It was not a BS announcemnt. He stated he is personally supportative of same sex marriage. WOW.
1st sitting presidet in American History to say this.
It may have cost him the election. Now you want to fight technicalities when he would like to get rid OF Doma!
Everything must be done at one step at a time. Otherwise, he would be a fool.
Some one at the Gawker does not want Pres. Obama to be re-elected if they believe otherwise.
Now the election is up int he air.
