There's one piece of advice nutritionists agree on: Stay away from the buffet!
All-you-can-eat smorgasbords of your favorite fatty foods encourage you to fill your plate time and time again, stuffing yourself until you can't squeeze in another bite. But you can't avoid buffets for the rest of your life. Whether you're with a large group who wants to hit the Chinese buffet around the corner, or you just can't resist the call of the Indian buffet with the amazing samosas, here are some tips to indulge yourself without bingeing:
•Start with a large salad. Load a large bowl with dark leafy greens and heap on healthy extras like tomatoes, carrots and mushrooms. •For your entrée, pick one un-fried, non-battered dish. Chinese beef and broccoli is fairly healthy, as is Indian chicken curry. •Pick only one type of carbohydrate. Instead of eating a muffin, baked roll and pasta salad, choose your favorite and ignore the rest. •You deserve a little treat every now and then, so don't be afraid to get another single-serving of one dish you really enjoy. Go ahead and have the fried sweet and sour pork, another muffin or a piece of cake. Just remember that key phrase here is "single-serving." Just because you can eat three platefuls worth of naan or chow mein doesn't mean you should. If you follow the buffet survival plan above, you'll feel satisfied and healthy - and you'll still be able to respect yourself the morning after. - End DOMA (Defense of Marriage Act). Prevents Federal employees and Gays in the Military from gaining equal benefits. Prevents Gay Partners from gaining equal benefits.
- Pass ENDA (Employee Non-Discrimination Act). ENDA would prevent employment discrimination of LGBT workforce.
- Boycott Salvation Army as they will not hire Gays! "DO NOT DONATE TO THEM."
- BOYCOTT "Chick-fil-a" for donating to anti-gay marriage groups.
- BOYCOTT KOCH INDUSTRIES PRODUCTS- to include their products: Angel Soft toilet paper / Brawny paper towels / Dixie plates, bowls, napkins & cups / Mardi Gras napkins and towels / Quilted Northern toilet paper / Soft 'n Gentle toilet paper / Sparkle napkins / Vanity fair napkins / Zee napkins / Georgia-Pacific paper products & envelopes / All Georgia-Pacific lumber & building products (INVISTA Products) / Lycra / Stainmaster Carpet. The billionaire - Koch brothers are ultra republican - tea bag founders/supporters that do not support causes of the LGBT community.
- Boycott WALMART - The National Gay and Lesbian Task Force, force criticized Wal-Mart for denying employee benefits to same-s-x partners and for failing to prohibit discrimination based on gender identity. By comparison, the group said two other chain stores with a strong presence in New York, Costco and Walgreens, did much better.

In a interview with the Des Moines Register, Trump added that he opposes all forms of legal recognition for gay couples, not just marriage. "They should not be able to marry," he said. So why does NBC keep the Apprentice running - when Donald Trump has stated he may run for president? Boycott NBC! Boycott advertisers of The Apprentice and Trump's other business's. Don't shop at any building with Donald Trump's name! The Donald has expressed extreme Hatred. Remember how poorly he treated Rosie O'Donnel? Now we know why he did that! It was hate against a lesbian as we now know he is hater. Unforgiveable! Ready to dump NBC because they air Donald Trump's "The Apprentice"? Start Watching CBS Evening News with Katie Couric.
- NEW: Boycott "APPLE." For the current owners and the aspiring owners of the I-phone, Apple allows an application, "The Gay App", which is supposed to help gay individuals turn straight. This is a step in the wrong direction.
Apple needs to know that the decision to allow this App on their products is a fallacious idea! Update: March 23, 2011: Apple removed this app from USA stores; but, possibly not from foreign stores. This is offensive not just towards the LGBT community in the USA; but, offensive to the entire LGBT community around the world. How does anyone approve such a hateful, despicable app towards the LGBT community? Especially when Gay Teens are killing themselves after being harrassed by their church, parents, as well as by bully's and teachers at school. The idea that this app was used, solicited is disgusting. - Remember David Kato, Gay activist - Uganda, who was slain because he is gay!

Potential GOP presidential candidate Michele Bachmann saluted conservative Iowa voters yesterday, praising them for ousting three state Supreme Court judges involved in legalizing gay marriage.
The Minnesota congresswoman repeatedly criticized judges as "black-robed masters" in her remarks to home-schooling advocates in Des Moines, according to Politico.
"What I love about Iowa is you are fighters, you don't take 'no' for an answer," Bachmann said, according to the Associated Press. "If you have judges who thwart the will of the people, you send them packing. Thank you, Iowa, for what you have done to uphold the Constitution."
In a rare rebuke by Iowa voters, Supreme Court Chief Justice Marsha Ternus and Justices David Baker and Michael Streit were thrown out of office in November, in what otherwise would have been a routine re-election campaign. They were involved in the 2009 court ruling that sanctioned same-sex marriage in Iowa, the first Midwestern state to do so.
Bachmann's comments about judges stood out at the rally of about 1,000 people who came out in support of home schooling. Home-schooling advocates and evangelical voters play a key role in the Iowa presidential caucuses and helped propel former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee to victory in the 2008 contest.
Bachmann, who is likely to make a decision about the 2012 race this summer, said she home-schooled her five children.
Rep. Ron Paul, R-Texas, and former pizza executive Herman Cain, who are considering White House bids, also spoke to the crowd.
Paul warned the audience that "the government will always be a threat," whether the issue is education or medicine, according to the AP report.
