Former Diva Dawn Marie Caught In A heartless Charity Health Care Scandal!

Pro wrestlers have had to deal with grueling work conditions since its
conception. Many wrestlers are left with nagging injuries or worse when all
is said and done. There have been many attempts to have a union formed but
it has never panned out. In 2008 it seemed that may have all changed. This
was in large part due to former WWE diva Dawn Marie. When she started
started the foundation "Wrestlers Rescue", many felt that she would make
history by helping current and former stars in the business.
Sadly it looks as if this noble cause will turn out to be nothing more than
a scam. It is now being reported that Dawn Marie is under investigation for
embezzling the funds that she collected over the last couple of years. The
money that has been raised to offer past and present wrestlers health care
is now unaccounted for. According to Sun Writer Mike Aldren, Dawn Marie used
the money to flow all over to conventions in order to make profits for
herself. It is also being speculated that not a single wrestler has seen a
dime. No one can seem to find any records of any organization getting money
from the funds raised.
Here is a quote from Aldren on Irvin Muchnicks blog: "Nobody seems to know
where all the money has gone nor has anyone seemingly benefited from the
money that Dawn has raised over the past three years. Her former friends
have told me she uses the money to fly herself to conventions around the
country so she can profit from autograph signings. She has agreements with
several promoters where if she flies herself in she will get a free table to
sell her merchandise. When I started asking reasonable questions, Dawn set
her attorney on me, who admits Wrestlers Rescue is not a registered
charity."
It is also being reported that in a fundraiser for "Dr. Death" Steve
Williams, the funds that were collected for him so he can get a device to
help him speak never got to him before he died. If this is the case than
this is a horrible crime that should not go unpunished. When Dawn Marie
Launched this charity it seemed that wrestlers may have finally had some
hope in getting health benefits. It now looks like that will never happen
and Dawn Marie may go down as one of the most disgraced names in the history
of the business.
