Moderator: no the gay community is boycotting Target and best Buy. Just cause one person chose to do callow Target and Best Buy - it does not stop us from doing the right thing. did you not read that target donated to a guy that wants gays exterminated like bugs? this crosses every line. I did stop shopping Target and Best Buy moment this happened. I have done the right thing. I dont have to check with ellen. But, i can write her and did write her- that she is doing the wrong thing. But, The producers of her show have made a decision and the network wants these advertisers. Ellen just tries not to get political, or she would have no advertisers. But, I am not a celebrity and don't require advertisers. ....jake

Can you or anyone else explain to me why Ellen DeGeneres is accepting rather large gift donations to her audience and such, from Target and Best Buy? Is their "gay donations" to counter-act their anti-gay contributions? If not, isn't this some sort of conflict of interest here? I don't watch her show very often, but when I do and I see huge "Targets" and Best Buy logos on the show, I feel very, very agitated. Am I reading this all wrong?
