Re: [Peckers_Pics] Model Wars-PICS-Health-News-Apr 19, 2011-Boycott TARGET-Trump-NBC

I totally agree with you in this matter. we cannot be isolationists but at the same time america has always been able to help and willing to help states around the world if it obstructs our own needs. in the past america has gone into wars on humanitarian grounds, because of our democratic society and principles. unfortunately the way our government is structured along with the red tape and bureaucracy, many states around the world needing help don't receive it until it's too late. for instance, the iraq war was all about oil. bush scared the american public into supporting that war and said it would pay for itself by controlling oil rights and the rest of the money would go to rebuild iraq. that has not happened, except for halliburton and a few other companies raking in oil profits. we do not get our oil from libya. most of libya's oil goes to european countries and other african countries. this war in libya was handed to Nato And rightfully so. Now it
seems That the republicans like senator john mccain Are forcing the presidents hand I'm making a visit to libya Without presidential approval. Also the atrocities in Sudan Have gone on for years. Our government did not Intercede on their behalf for a host of reasons. Sudan Has just recently split into 2 separate states. Not by our interceding But through grass root Endeavors Primarily financed by private individuals Like george clooney. He chose to step in, Purchase satellite time And now we have a free south Sudan. The bad atrocities in syria Are very serious, As well as Yemen & Bharain. However the middle east is a very complicated area of the globe. Each country is different in each country has a different relationship with us. Sometimes we cannot just go into A country and start a war. It doesn't seem fair to pick and choose who we help But that is the cards we have been dealt By our own previous decisions. Unfortunately whether we help a state or
not, Blood will be shed. I support president obama's Decision making And hillary clinton's Diplomacy skills, Much more than the bush administration's skills And current republican Ideals of war. We hope for the best And must support our leaders Currently in office. Marki :)
