SPOILERS: TNA iMPACT! Results for This Week (7/15)
Posted by: Wrestling-Radio.com

*The show opens with Abyss coming to the ring carrying a board of nails,
which apparently has a piece of raw meat hanging from it. He cuts a promo,
then proceeds to use the board to repeatedly hit the meat. He then tells Rob
Van Dam not to worry because the same exact thing will happen to him. We're
told that during the segment, Abyss actually broke the board because he kept
hitting the mat so hard, and that he also ripped the ring apron, forcing
crew members to change it

*Backstage, a camera catches Taylor Wilde and Sarita fighting all over the
place. As the crew finishes at ringside, the two women end up brawling out
there. Sarita gets tossed into the crowd at ringside and choked with a purse
strap, which we're told resulted in some sort of win in an unnanounced
hardcore match

*A backstage segment is shown with Kevin nash and Miss Tessmacher

*Brian Kendrick defeated X-Division Champion Douglas Williams in a non-title
match. Following the match, Kevin Nash comes to the ring and chokeslams
Kendrick. Nash says he's a living legend, then demands that Hulk Hogan and
Eric Bischoff give him television time. Nash says he'll make an example out
of Kendrick, which brings out Jeff Jarrett. Jarrett says that Nash needs to
settle down or like Sting, he'll end up getting suspended from TNA. Jarrett
then says that Nash is nothing but an egotistical son of a bitch who only
cares about money. Nash then walked away from the ring, leaving Jarrett
alone

*Samoa Joe defeated Desmond Wolfe and Rob Terry in a Triple Threat Match

*Beer Money defeated TNA Tag Team Champions The Motor City Machineguns in
the first match of a Best of Five Series

*"The Pope" D'Angelo Dinero defeated Matt Morgan

*A backstage segment with The Beautiful People is shown, with Madison Rayne
saying that she is above Velvet Sky and Lacey Von Erich. Velvet storms off,
angry

*Madison Rayne came to the ring, saying she's protesting the referee's
decision at TNA Victory Road. Rayne says she will sue TNA if the company
does not return the Knockout Championship belt to her within seven
days.Velvet Sky and Lacey Von Erich then came out and demanded that Rayne
tell them why she hired the mystery woman on the motorcycle without their
knowledge or permission. Rayne says that Velvet is a dumb blonde before
Velvet threatens to kick Rayne's ass. New Knockout Champion Angelina Love
then comes out and accuses Velvet of being the one who drove the motorcycle.
Velvet denies the accusation and storms off, telling Angelina that Rayne is
"all hers". Rayne demands to be given back the title, and the two begin
fighting until the motorcycle woman arrives and assists Rayne. Angelina is
left in the ring as Rayne and the mystery woman leave

*Jeff Hardy defeated Jay Lethal

*Ric Flair, AJ Styles, and Kazarian come to the ring, and Flair announces
that they are the first two members of his new Fortune faction. Desmond
Wolfe then comes to the ring to protest Flair's announcement, but Abyss then
hits the ring, causing everyone to leave. Abyss then calls out TNA Champion
Rob Van Dam, saying that "they" are coming and that "they" will not be
stopped once "they" get here. He then says that "they" have instructed Abyss
to bring "them" the TNA Championship belt. Abyss vs. RVD is announced for
TNA Hard Justice in an Extreme Anything Goes Match, with Abyss' nail board
hanging 15 feet above the ring. RVD then hits the ring and the two begin
brawling with Abyss getting the upper hand. Ink Inc. then comes out from
backstage to help, but are also beaten down by Abyss. The ECW group then
appears and hops over the railing and enter the ring, assisting RVD against
Abyss. During this situation, Mick Foley appears on the entrance stage. TNA
security and agents, as well as other TNA stars, try to break up the brawl,
but are unsuccessful. Brother D'Von and Al Snow then enter the melee, and it
now appears that the ECW guys are fighting against the TNA guys. Dixie
Carter herself even attempts to stop the brawl, but is unsuccessful. The end
of the show comes with Foley and the ECW guys on top. (The segment was said
to be very similar to the WWE/Nexus angle, with a lot of readers commenting
that TNA did nothing but simply copy what WWE has done in recent weeks)
